Is Quero anywhere close to being a catching option for us this year?

With September call ups looming, most are hypothesizing Naylor is the position player coming up so we can utilize Sanchez' bat more often ... no one has mentioned Quero. I'm assuming that means he is incapable of being behind the dish anytime soon?

He’s only caught 20 innings since June 26, so I doubt he’s truly physically ready.

That said, there’s some service time complexity with Bo Naylor, so maybe Quero will see a brief call-up nonetheless.

LHP JD Thompson was solid last week (5 IP, 2 R, 7 Ks) and leads AA Biloxi tonight as they shoot for a 3-2 series edge at home against Knoxville. 3B Luis Pena is right back in the starting lineup despite exiting Friday’s game early after an HBP.

Anyone see what happened to Luke Adams? Looks like Ethan Murray pinch hit for him in the 1st inning.

He fouled off a ball and then was in pain (didn't foul it off himself). Walked off under his own power but no clear physical issue. The announcers were suggesting that it was heat-related, but all pure conjecture.

Two long dong night for OF Luis Castillo who continues to put out a very under the radar fantastic season for High-A Wisconsin. K rate sitting at a manageable 24.3 % down 6 % from his 30.5% in limited 2025 action. You love to see it.

Shuckers load the bases. Then wild - a high chopper to short and the 3B was not in position to catch it and all runners safe. 3-2. Then a grounder to 1B and the first baseman stepped on the bag and throws home and it goes wide and 2 runners score. 4-3 walk off. Heck yeah!

And Hardin closes the door but gives up a 2 run HR in the 9th. Still Sounds 13-5 win
