Said I was wrong about May two starts ago, I felt he was a big addition at the deadline. He’s been very average and hardly worth the price. I also don’t see him pitching in the playoffs so it is what it is.

I was told that this was the second best pitcher traded at the deadline and we were going to get him into the pitching lab and whip him right into an ace.

Hook will have a few more starts to try and straighten him out but if they aren't any better than this then no he should not pitch in the playoffs.

May should not start in the playoffs. Another disappointing trade deadline deal.

Obviously not what you wanted from May. Good news is, he was the guy you wanted to skip in the Cubs series. Now you can.

For their part, the Brewers look like they'll miss Shota, which is helpful.

Murphy bullpen management must be studied. It's like he was determined to give Cubs series some extra juice by losing today. No reason to leave May out there as long as he did.
