The Brewers organization expects that all of these players go out into the community and provide service, charity and fellowship. Would it be OK for Turang to have this kind of disjointed, disinterested response to kids and their families in a hospital setting, who view him as a hero? Would we be proud of that?
You need to do all of these things to earn your paycheck in Milwaukee. Turang needs to be able to have articulate and interesting responses to the basic media at least

But this is what you get when you skip college as he did or do not learn the basics of public speaking. Imagine Turang being elected “captain”…and being the face of the Brewers with only grunts and “yeahs” to utter. 
 

I know he’s in a steady relationship. Interesting first date I imagine. Maybe she can help him…

When he's interviewed, Turang reminds me of someone who was under the hood changing plugs or adjusting the differential & is suddenly being bothered with questions he doesn't really care much about. And maybe it's just me but I kinda like that about him.

When in the community I would be willing to bet he's down to earth & much more engaging simply because the microphones & cameras are nowhere to be seen.

Sounds like not much concern re Ortiz; just a bruise that he picked up in Philly. But I wouldn't be shocked if he's off today.

Winning #102 was great but the best thing to come out of this one was Harrison looking more like his old self.

Some crazy travel for the Cubs the last few days and coming up. From Chicago to Boston, down to Tampa and then out to San Diego all in the span of around four days.

Meanwhile the furthest west the Padres have been since September 3rd is Denver.
