Padres nearly knocking out Misiorowski after two innings wasn’t on my scorecard. Bad two innings, even though only two runs were conceded. 

Offense needs to make an appearance soon.

They’re at home. If Miz is tipping or they’re not changing up the signs that’s kind of on us.

Miz's slider and cutter are essentially the same pitch - he needs to mix the slower curve in more, and most importantly further develop his change up for next year.  Need pitches with bigger velo gaps when teams are sitting on the mid 90s stuff and doing damage against that.

7 pitch strikeouts are better than 1st pitch bunt outs, but neither are going to dig you out of a 2-0 hole.

Nothing about the first two innings is good.  Crowd is out already.  Offense is ineffective.  Pitching can't execute.  Its early but not off to a good start.
