I think the stumble was the 2nd mistake.  His steps/stride just before getting to 2nd base were messed up which caused the stumble

Yeah, thats situation awareness.  Stumbling changes everything, but he didnt hesitate.  Would have rather had 2 shots to score him from second with Chourio and Bauers.

Take it, absolutely, but it was white-knuckling through those 15 outs. It's worrying that he hasn't looked great in any outing.

But still, he has absolutely put the team in a position to win.
