He finally started to believe in himself.  I really think Sproat has that potential too.  Just has to trust himself.

If Sproat had Bobby's determination, he'd be a Cy Young. Dude has SO much talent, just needs to keep his head in the game.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I must again express my regret for calling Gasser an AAAA pitcher most of June and July.   What a performance he is having tonight.

wow wow wow

The thing about this run is how much of a team effort it has been. It’s been equally satisfying watching the ones I didn’t believe in prove me wrong and the ones I believed in prove me right.

My wife feels bad for the Rays.

I can understand her feeling.  I do too.

I recall how devastated we fans were in 82.  The MLB Network showed a 2024 documentary about that team  interviewing those players.  The last thing Robin said is even today he has never gotten over losing that WS.

It feels inevitable, but I hope the team doesn’t approach tomorrow any differently than they’ve approached any other game.

You know they won't. Not in their DNA.

Finally we have a game where no opposing fan cannot have any doubt that we beat them....

No ball of the roof, no just missed homer, no stolen pitches, no check swings.

This is nice.

Imagine someone telling you that Miz has thrown 13 1/3 innings in 3 starts and then telling you the team is 10-1 and up 3-0 in the World Series.

I think Miz has been just fine, but any path to a title I envisioned a 7 game series at least once where he made 3 appearances.

The captain beating that throw to second base started it all.

Champions play hard all the time... even running out obvious outs to first.

He starts the final game tomorrow night

I did not want to see Woody on this roster... but what a fitting way to end it! Woody comes, gets Yandy, back out for Junior... and then we just continue to go belt to arse on them!

Lots of posters just didn’t understand how good this team is. Being negative and saying the dumbest things possible was a badge of honor for many posters. Glad the Crew didn’t sneak into a wild card position after the Padres series.

Hopefully we keep this cushion.  Would be nice to get everyone in during the last 2 innings.  Get an inning each from Senzatela and Harrison.  Keep Woody and Drohan for tomorrow night’s bulk guys.  Maybe Woody start and throw 1-2 and Drohan follow him.

Imagine how much Miz could grow for next year (and playoffs).  And Henderson coming off his rookie season.  And Gasser, Priester, Harrison... 🤤

Seriously? What part of the Brewers season leads you to say this?

We haven’t won anything yet.  I so wish this was game 4

Accoeding to WS history only a tiny fraction of teams in a 7 game series have come back from being down 3-0.
