Honestly, it is nice to have a quick turnaround after Sunday's self inflicted flop against the Lions.  I didn't expect a win in Detroit, but none of my concerns (run defense) were the reasons we lost.  We dropped (literally) a winnable game and shanked (literally) a win into a loss.

Carolina is licking their own wounds after being drubbed at home by the Buccaneers.  

Injuries are piling up... players keep dropping the ball... Zeitler still not playing... Smack needs to recenter. 

And a short week to deal with it.

Panther's run defense has allowed 5.2 yards per rush which is the worst in the NFL.  Packer fans know where the Packer's run offense ranks because it is a joke.  A true poop versus poop matchup if there ever was one.

This morning, Zeitler had been moved to 1st string RG on the Packer's official website.  As I type this, it is back to Glover 1st string and Zeitler 2nd string.

Jacob Monk has also been put on IR, not the designated to return list but the season-ending list.  So he is done.  Mekhi Becton fans rejoice, as he is now on the 53-man roster.  Packers depth chart currently has him listed as the backup at RT.

The Journal-Sentinel is reporting Rhyan is likely out for 4-6 weeks.  That makes left tackle extremely shaky as John Williams was the backup at LT.  If Morgan gets hurt, does Williams go back to LT and Burton play at center?  Or does Belton or Becton get bumped to LT?

Is it too much to ask for an injury free game that is a blowout win?  After tonight's Brewer game (regardless of the outcome), I could use an emotionally low evening... 🤪

Oh hey! There is a Packer game tonight! I think it would be awesome if some or the whole Brewer team showed up at Lambeau, but I'm not holding my breath. I have to take my girls to a choir concert to see their friends perform and then I'll watch once I get home. No injuries is priority 1, and whatever this offensive line is doing, I hope it gets figured out. Maybe Zeitler plays. Who knows.

The only thing that would improve my mood would be a house cleaning after this one. 

But sadly that should have happened at the end of last season. Now I fear the only way this is going to get turned around is starting at the top with Policy getting the boot.

We're now stuck in purgatory. Never going to be bad enough to do what needs to be done but never going to be good enough to win anything.
