cirillo26 · August 14, 2005

Capanna was probably hoping Solvdd would be catching today.

rluzinski · August 14, 2005

I'm really glad we pulled Davis for **COUGH** Magruder. Worked out nicely.

YutakaEnatsu · August 14, 2005

Nuts.

And if the Brewers guys said Jenkins was charging on O'bay's play before, that's funny - the Reds guys called him Obermueller! (shudder.)

stkmtimo · August 14, 2005

Ugh, another no decision for Doug Davis. I really feel bad for the man now. Pathetic display by Capellan.

SheetsCyYoung04 · August 14, 2005

Ehh so much for advancing my Jorge starting thread.

ThePurpleStorm · August 14, 2005

Uggh. We canNOT go 0-6 on the homestand. Come on guys! Sheesh

Ehh so much for advancing my Jorge starting thread.

He didn't really do anything wrong, did he?

jake2006 · August 14, 2005

I hate you Griffey......although hes been quiet agaginst us this year tho , unlike years past

ja002h · August 14, 2005

Jenks!

LETS SCORE!

ThePurpleStorm · August 14, 2005

These new setup guys are not impressing.

JENKS!

AJAY · August 14, 2005

Whoa Jenkins !!!!!!!

That saved the game right there.

batman · August 14, 2005

WOW, what a great catch!

Take THAT, Austin Kearns!

~Bill

cirillo26 · August 14, 2005

Ueck said it was a pretty good catch.

"What a play!"

I'll take his word for it.

JENKS!!!!!!!

FLASH THAT LEATHER!!!!!

RoseBowlMtg · August 14, 2005

Welcome to the bigs Kade! Way to go Jenks now let's score a couple of runs!

SheetsCyYoung04 · August 14, 2005

He didn't really do anything wrong, did he?

It would have been better if he would have stranded two runners.

YutakaEnatsu · August 14, 2005

Go Jenks! Nice. The Crew is still in this one. Gotta bring 'Bow in for the 9th even if they don't get the lead back here, don't they?

I'm not usually one to snark... but I defy anyone who thinks the Brewers have no heart, or have quit on the season, to explain that effort by a team leader there.

ThePurpleStorm · August 14, 2005

Please Guys!!!

cirillo26 · August 14, 2005

JDLR didn't do that bad. He gave up one hit, the run was charged to Cappy2.

In hindsight, it was probably not the best decision to bring a young (and probably nervous) pitcher into a close game like that.

Altough I think a lot of us wanted to see him today.

BrewCrewForever · August 14, 2005

Wow Jenks nice leather there. Does anybody else think that maybe Capellan is gonna be cursed wearing the #52? We all know who last wore that. Shudder, Blowtallico.

cirillo26 · August 14, 2005

Way to go Rickie!!!

ja002h · August 14, 2005

THere's a runner. What pitch should Rickie steal?

ThePurpleStorm · August 14, 2005

Good start Rickie!!!! How about a steal here?

PeaveyFury · August 14, 2005

Yeah, I'd argue that it probably would have been better to have the more experienced Kane Davis start that inning off in the first place. It was a rough situation for Capellan to make his Brewers debut in.
