Well... we are witnessing our future all wrapped up in one game tonight boys and girls. Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder tearing apart Johan Santana and Jesse Crain (who has also been a top flight prospect himself). The only thing more poetic would have been to have Sheets on the mound.

 

I know the game's not over yet. But, regardless of the outcome, it's exciting to see a taste of things to come.

 

PS -- JJ's had a nice game, too.

This is a BIG BIG BIG time win. I want to see if we can play the game out like we DESERVE to win - we are not scared anymore. We have so much mojo that Halle Berry would be overwhelmed.

I like this new brand of Brewers baseball that I have been seeing over the past three games. While I would like to see Sheets and Ohka pitching, you cannot deny that 8-7 wins and 7-6 games in the bottom of the 7th are a heck of a lot of fun.

ok, now would have been a good time to bring in Overbay or Jenkins as a pinch hitter/defensive replacement.

edit: Overbay in now...I guess its not quite as bad as Yost's reverse-pinch-hitting the last couple years.

 

reverse-edit: Not sure about bringing Santana in now either, especially with two lefties and an easy out coming up. I'd rather save him, in case Turnbow implodes again.
