I dont like that Yost has no reserves on his bench in case of some infield problem. It is great to have Helms and Durrington and Hall who can play most of the infield, but when you have NO infielder left on the bench, you can have a whoopsie in a flash.

Maybe Moeller/Miller could play third base for an inning in a pinch.

That game was awesome!

Awesome indeed despite the starting pitching which has been out golden lining all season.

I think this is a game we'll all remember for a while.
"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

Oooh, Prince and Rickie get the shaving cream pies to the face during the post game interview.

It looked like Miller Park had an electric environment. The team finished the game with a lot of emotion. This should carry over until tomorrow. This could be a springboard win.

The problem with Brainard is that he is not butter. If his delivery were more smooth he would be solid. He should take classes on that.

Brainerd gets a little cheesy at times, but at least he is not afraid to laugh at himself and I think he does fine with the interviews. What a great night. This game, combined with the exciting game on Thursday have to have Brewers fans excited about the rest of this season and beyond.

I like overbay and everything, but I'm hoping Melvin finds a way to get a deal for him so we can see rickie and prince start on the right side of the infield everyday.

The future is almost now!

that was one of my favorite baseball games of All-Time.

Apparently you weren't around in '82.

Anyway... great win against the best pitcher in baseball (or at close). And it guarantees a winning homestand.

Why didn't they have a pie for Bob Brainerd?

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Who was responsible for the pies? I have a feeling The Sheeter was behind it!

Great win, best one since opening day. The crowd seemed to (rightfully) be electric tonight.

No doubt! I'm sure we'll hear all about it when those at the fanfest get back!

That Brainard interview wasn't too bad.

When I saw him walking from the dugout at the end of the game, I was kind of nervous to tell the truth.

I am sure someone has already brought this up, but I loved to hear about how Prince talked about Lee helping him out before the game. We gotta get him signed long term.
