9/7/2007: Brewers (Bush) at Reds (Arroyo), 6:10pm CT

Bush has always seemed to struggle on the road and lefties hit him better than righties (though not this year). The Reds struggle against lefties and kill righties.

Its not the greatest matchup in the world but he's due!

Well John Donovan says the Brewers are dead so we might as well shut this site down until after the playoffs. Since we're going to lose anyways according to Donovan maybe I'll go to the Mukwonago/Arrowhead game tonight, head to Las Vegas tomorrow to watch the Badgers, come back home tomorrow night to watch the Packers at Lambeau and then head back to Vegas and bet that the Brewers won't make the playoffs since Donovan said so.

I know a guy named John Donovan. In fact he and I went to the last game at County Stadium together.

That was against the Reds too I think. Let's go Crew, win one for Donovan.

And for the first time since that series in Arizona, the Brewers will be playing in front of a crowd that will not have a playoff-like atmosphere.

Good lineup, but the words "Bush" and "Great American Ball Park" make me shudder. 3-run homers, anyone? We just might have to win a slugfest. I'm going with Milwaukee 11-8. Linebrink gets the win in relief.

Chat still broken?

yup, that it is. How can it always be down?

I hope for a good road trip, but nothing points to a good one. The only feeling I get is Dunn, Griffey, and Phillips going yard many times. Man I hope I'm wrong.

and the same pitch to gross was a ball. it must be a wide inside corner. however, rickie does stand on top of the plate, so that could be a factor too.

I really hope that wasn't a hit and run on 0-2

getting thrown out at 3rd is never good. Getting thrown out at 3rd to end an inning is horrible

Especially with Prince due up - ugh! On the bright side, Pittsburgh is up 1-0 on the Cubs in the 1st.
