Nothing gets me more excited than the melodic stylings of Bill Withers sung by Tim Hudson and Willie Harris.

Francoeur sang Summer of '69? The Bryan Adams Summer of '69? http://www.realgm.com/boards/baseball/images/smiles/rofl.gif

I'm so glad Hall is in the lineup, he totally has a chance against Smoltz.

That check swing on Hart is absolute proof that sometimes, the 1st and 3rd base umpires are just caught dreaming during the pitch, get all flustered when they have to make a decision, then just make one. Pretty piss poor.

Wow, I think we may be seeing Justin Verlander 2.0. Has a team ever been no-hit twice in the same season?

Edit: I stand corrected http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

I'm sure Hardy and his sub .320 OBP will come through here.
what happened to him batting 8th?

Apparently he thinks Hall batting 8th is better.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eek.gif

A question for everyone. Would you sacrifice a few of Hardy's homeruns (let's say he hits 15 next year) for a higher OBP? Like in the .350-.360 range.

I would.

Yo looking good so far after the "rough" start.

Let's get some runs and take a nice big lead!

I would.

My expectations of Hardy next year are that he'll BB more, hit more doubles and hit fewer HR's for about the same OPS on the season but slightly better overall stats as OBP is more important than SLG.
