    I'd take Winker in a heartbeat. .394/.556 in 2021 .374/.463 career. That's a hell of a lot better than anything we've got. Of course I'm ignoring last year, but I would bet on that being an outlier. Plus there's this, which is hilarious:

    I would've been thrilled to add another big bullpen arm (who is under control for 4 years) for Kolten Wong. Chris Flexen doesn't do it for me and I'd be surprised if Arnold is looking for anything other than win-now pieces as the centerpiece of a Wong trade. We'll see what happens.

    MLBTR released their top 50 FA with predictions. They had 4 people predicting, so a total of 200 predictions. Brewers showed up 3 times: Once for Christian Vazquez (3/27) Once for Brandon Drury (2/18) Once for MIchael Brantley (1/15) I could live with Vazquez, but I wouldn't like the other two much unless we were really going for it payroll-wise (Brantley).     I like it. Well done. Only quibble would be I don't see any way Oakland trades Puk for Taylor. I'd love that deal no matter what other moves we'd make, but I can't see Oakland doing that.

    There are plenty of opportunities. The schedule is fairly easy other than that obivous 8 game stretch. The next 15 games are against bad teams. Win 11 or 12. Tough 8 game stretch, hopefully win 5. 11 of the last 13 are against doormats, win another 9. Call it 25-11 finish Playoffs.
