  1. Lol, wrong thread.
  2. Hopefully it's his and not his dad's.
  3. He's also not a shortstop anymore (which is crazy but true). Not sure how much difference 2B makes, but probably not a ton. Edit: It seems to me that Boston is stealing a lot of his value by moving him to 2B which is a big part of the reason I hate this deal for them. That and the non-Coors thing.
  4. His .310 OBP and .752 OPS away from Coors over his career are real things too. That's what would worry me as a Red Sox fan. His defense is definitely a plus, but he screams average hitter to me.
  5. I'm just curious why you think that, because he has a career OPS of .752 away from Coors. I don't understand why people like this deal for Boston personally. Edit: I see you went over it in your next post. I don't buy it personally. This seems like it could become a terrible contract. Obviously that doesnt really matter to Boston though.
  6. The best part of this post is knowing that the ignore feature works in the new format. I can't see his posts at all.
  7. Wow. That is way too much for Rosario.
  8. Too much money imo. At least it's only 1 year. Would've preferred a reliever and a cheap bat, but whatever. Hoping for the best.
  9. Tough to truly evaluate this without knowing the money. I hope to god it's not 8+. That strikes me as unlikely. I'm thinking 5-6. Hope I'm right.
  10. He was fine last season and destroyed lefties (as he always has). If it's a small AAV deal I'm totally fine with it. Seems like he's limited to LF at this stage though, which isn't great.
  11. Prospects #1, #3, #11 & #13 in a meh Braves system. Equivalent offer from the Brewers: Mitchell, Turang, Zamora, Feliciano. Obviously not apples to apples, but I think I probably would've done that. Not sure how anyone else feels (or the A's more importantly).
  12. Yep. Thanks for the help!
  13. It would have to be really cheap for me on Rosario. I think we talked about him already in this thread, but yeah. Like 1/4 I'd be in. He really isn't good. Edit: Bottom of page 3. And I said the exact same thing then.
  14. Just gimme Kris Bryant and I'll be good.
  15. About damn time. Get this nonsense over with.
  16. So weird to me that someone would be a big enough Brewer fan to post here, but would rather see them leave than pay a tiny amount of tax to keep them. I can see why non-Brewer fans feel that way, but not the people here who are obviously die-hards. To each their own, just strikes me as strange. You're getting screwed on taxes either way, might as well get something out of it. I know that's an extremely cynical point of view, but the older you get, the more obviously true it is.
  17. I appreciate all the content you provide!
  18. That link is from 2020. This link seems to be the one MT meant to link: https://www.prospects1500.com/nl-central/brewers/milwaukee-brewers-top-50-prospects-2022/
  19. Just saw a blurb that Austin Meadows may be available. He is arb eligible for the first time now. Interesting guy. Great in 2019, bad in 2020, meh in 2021. I don't know anything about his defense, but based on WAR, it doesn't seem very good. What do we think it would take? Based on the trade site, looks like Lauer, or a prospect in the Jeff Quero/Hedbert Perez range. Anyone interested? Intriguing to me. 20. Personally have no interest in Rosario. We already have Renfroe. They're pretty similar. I understand the platoon idea, but I'm not paying $9MM for him. If they could get him on a 1/4 type deal, sure, but as Joseph said, that money can be spent better elsewhere.
  21. I didn't realize how good of a season Bell had until it was discussed here. Overall. 261 BA, 27 HR, .823 OPS. That's pretty solid - and right in line with his career numbers. I just remember last year's terrible start (and his poor 2020 campaign). Career wise - he definitely hits righties better than lefties (.839 OPS vs rights compared to .752 vs lefties). Yeah, I thought about my platoon split comment after I posted it and realized it was last year that he was pretty even. Interesting to see the career split. That actually may be better than having like an .800 against both.
  22. Bell had a good season after a horrid start. .887 OPS in the 2nd half. No real platoon split. Sign me up.
  23. And trade for Olson, since we've got nothing better to do than dream. Wong Yelich Adames Olson Cruz Urias Narvaez Renfroe Taylor/Cain
  24. Nelson Cruz would be a great fit here. Certainly not "buy low", just replying to the posts above. Offer him 1/10. Maybe he'll bite.
  25. Obviously tickets matter. Gimme a break.
