  1. Burnes and Williams for Jackson Holliday. Brewers could still throw in another player or two and I'd do this... I know it won't/can't happen, but imagine Chourio and Holiday in our line up for the next 8 years...
  2. Any deal with the Yankees starts with Dominquez.
  3. You don't know this, stop acting like you do. We have no idea what the Dodgers are thinking. They may be thinking that Burnes would be the icing on the cake this year. YOU simply don't know. That team can afford the prospects, so adding Burnes could in fact be their next line of thought. Imagine that rotation by adding Burnes, my bet is that they are thinking on it, and nothing would surprise me at this point.
  4. Another catcher? lol With Contreras and Quero in the near future, this would not be too wise. We have so many other needs. Yup, stupid trade offer, but if it happened, there would be people like yourself, falling all over each other to be the first to find all the positive things about the trade. Happens every time. One thing we have here in plenty is company men...
  5. I can't imagine signing a guy that could be more blah than this. lol Hopefully, we don't have to rely on him for more than 3 or 4 at bats per week.
  6. Lots of time left...
  7. Ok, so you found an article that agrees with your thoughts on the situation. I wonder if there are any articles out there that thinks this trade was stupid?
  8. Over the top, yet had a lot of posters here fooled...
  9. A big giant no thank you to Prielipp. If Polanco is the marquee player in a Burnes trade, I'm keeping him. Polanco is just hurt way too much for my liking.
  10. Just ate at Charley's Philly Cheesesteak in the mall. $15.05 for a regular sized philly sandwich, fries and a drink. Craziness.
  11. No more need for Bart with our signing of Haase.
  12. More than likely...
  13. Sure hope William doesn't go through any injury issues this year...
  14. The move is a salary dump, I get it, but the return is really unimpressive. I'm hoping that they know what they are doing, but the rotation is a worry, and as of now, it's even more of a worry than it was this morning. Hopefully there is something else going down to address the rotation.
  15. Ummm, from one "hot shot" to another... Please.
  16. 5.5 million is too much money? This isn't 1995.
  17. Frees up what, 7 million? I guess it could go to a Santana signing, but this trade makes no sense. If we did it just to free up money, how can anyone not agree that this is an extremely cheap way to do business. It's just plain gross.
  18. Like we couldn't clear some space if we had to...That just isn't enough justification for a head scratching trade.

Please forgive my ignorance, but if you are picking up Rocky's ingredients at the store, why not just go get yourselves a real Rocky's pizza at the restaurant?
  21. I can't imagine getting Santana for the DH spot since his glove is so great. If we resign him, he is our 1B for the 2024 season, end of story. We get Santana, that pretty much ends any chance of Hoskins, not that we had a shot to begin with...
  22. If there ends up being a bidding war for Hoskins, as usual, we are out of it. :(
  23. Can Polanco stay healthy? That is a serious concern.
  24. Got a link to that quote? EDIT: I see what was now posted above this, but that really isn't exactly what he said. Meh, whatever...
  25. Baker Mayfield becomes the first visiting quarterback EVER with a perfect passer rating (158.3) at Lambeau Field.
