    MIZ 100% needs to keep his pitch count more manageable than he has recently. We really need 5-6 good innings from him tonight, preferably 6... Nerves are no fun, let's get this going!

    Obviously, it's ideal to go 2-0 in Milwaukee, but is that realistic? Man, this is going to be a tough series if we can't score runs.

    If I was a player, and I got BOOOO'd in away stadiums, I'd relish and love it! It is funny that of all people, Yelich gets BOOOO'd.

    I hope you are right, but I have seen no reason to think that Yelich will see any bench time from here on out. Pancakes is all in on him, and that won't change in the playoffs.......imo.

    DH at bats would be far and few between with Yelich under contract for two more years. It would have to be back-up catcher and 1B. I'm inclined to see what we have in Burke, Adams or even Fischer at 1B next season, and it would cost us nothing!

    If we traded all three of those pitchers to the Rockies, I would be very sad for them, VERY SAD! Colorado is pitcher hell, it would seem almost mean spirited to deal all three of them to that unforgiving pitcher's hellpit.

    Well, it does for a lot of us, and I'm one of them. Every time I see him, anyplace, my first thought is that I can't stand him, and that will probably never change. Even if we acquired him somehow, it would be really tough for me to abandon previous thoughts and feelings about the guy.

    Yeah, well, what he did 8 years ago was still about as dirty as it gets. Not a chance in hell this guy deserves a pass because he was younger then. What he tried to do could have been a career killer. Luckily he failed. I hope he is a better person now, and kudos to him if he is, but that can't be forgiven, just can't. He's a punk.

    I don't want the season shortened to 154 games, not at all. Messes with history, records, etc. I'd hate this! I don't mind the division series being best of 5, but not a dealbreaker for me to go to best of 7. The ability for the high seeds to pick their opponents at the beginning of the playoffs? My God, this just seems horrible.

    MLB has proposed shortening the regular season from 162 to 154 games in CBA negotiations with the Players Association.     I have to feel that the Padres will be rooting for us hard, no way they want the Dodgers to win it all. Actually, I doubt any team in MLB will be rooting for the Dodgers from here on out, playoffs or World Series.
