    Which is why all the pre-season talk of our tremendous starting pitching depth was just talk. People saying we should trade some of our starting pitching for a bat or 3, LOL. We always need starting pitching, ALWAYS!

    Honestly, I'd do this deal as long as Skubal physically checks out... I'm not a real Gasser believer, so to me, he is a toss in... Gasser, Thompson and Lara for Skubal? Count me in. That will never get it done, but if it would, I'd do it like yesterday!

    I'd venture to guess that Made is your starting point to be honest...

    Fact is, we need another front end starter AND we need at least one hitter, probably 2, to go toe to toe with the evil empire in the playoffs. We can't have our 7-9 hitters as they sit and expect to win in the playoffs, much less get to, and win the world series. The playoffs are a different animal than the regular season.

    I keep expecting some of those bats to move to AA from Wisconsin but they keep staying put. I plan to get a healthy dose of all of them this coming week in Appleton, because I just can't see that gang staying together much longer.

    Quero needs to play. Starting one game a week and possibly pinch hitting a couple times a week just won't cut it. He needs to stay in Nashville until his playing time can increase, and with Contreras, that isn't going to happen.

    This one is just plain out of control now... Hopefully, we see our best line-up tomorrow for the rubber game.

    By spinoffs, do you mean 1883, 1923 and I guess Marshalls? I really liked 1883 and 1923, giving the nod to 1883 if I had to choose. Have yet to watch Marshalls, but from the looks of previews I have seen, are his wife and son even in this show?

    and Skubal... We all know if he gets traded it's going to be to the Dodgers though...

    I would HATE if the Brewers had that punk on the roster. Seriously, I would be forced to make a decision, and Machado would absolutely ruin my fandom every day he took the field in a Brewers uniform. Thankfully, he'll never be a Brewer.

    I'm assuming you mean Blake Burke? I simply wouldn't trade Burke for Crawford.

    I don't think they DFA him ever. I think we have him until 2035.

    Ortiz is who he is. We already know that, and he has been on the team for 3 seasons. Rengifo was our big FA signing in the off season, he is drawing more scorn because of that, and the fact that he stinks.

    Short leash if needed Murphy. This is still the Dodgers, and winning this first game of the series is freaking huge! Hopefully, he just goes out and turns in a great 5th inning, then Drohan takes over the next 2 or 3...

    At this point, you just have to play Bauers, Vaughn, and Yelich everyday! We need all the bats we can get! I'm fine with putting Bauers out in LF on a daily basis, at the very least, until he cools down. I'll take his less than Steller defense if he keeps hitting. Yelich DH, Bauers as our every day LF, and Vaughn at 1B. Just freaking do it, and let Chourio play daily in CF. Frelick and Mitchell can fight it out for at bats in RF.
