  1. True, but he could just as easily walk a batter or two instead. I don't feel he's trustworthy right now, which saddens me.
  2. Oh so hard... Think he'll ask his kids a cringe question tonight in the post game to help deflect any questions?
  3. Why can't he? The grueling part of the season is over. I see no reason why Yelich couldn't play a full series in the playoffs in LF. However, I am not on the Bauers train. He is who he is, and the week between now and the playoffs will probably turn him into the pumpkin we know he really is.
  4. Ummmm yeah, but above, that price you called a no brainer, was 18-20 million per season. That is just plain old gross. Not a chance, not even a slim chance that this is a consideration.
  5. I'm sad that it has come to this line of thinking. Not a rip on you at all, you are on to something for certain!
  6. LOL It's hard to... (I'm glad someone didn't let that press conference go out to die, that was just so ridiculous)
  7. Meh, they have two more chances to wrap up the best record in MLB. With Abbott going tomorrow, and Gasser pitching (what will he have, 4 innings max) I'm not holding my breath. Freddy will pitch a some innings on Sunday apparently? We could easily piss this away. Hopefully, they find a way to win tomorrow and put us out of our misery.
  8. Hard to stay hungry, hard to stay hungry, hard to stay hungry... His exchange with his son there was cringeworthy. Geez.
  9. The media does not ask those kinds of questions. The media is more concerned with pocket pancakes than actual baseball questioning. They will lob a few softball questions that mean nothing, and call it a night. They did the same thing with Counsell. I can't stand it when his kids are at the press conference. It's just inappropriate.
  10. Going through the motions. Maybe they think they can just hit the switch in the playoffs, and all will be great again?
  11. At this point, all we can really do is hope that the reset after the regular season energizes this team, both offensively and the pitching staff. Obviously, if we play the way we have the past month, we aren't going to last long in the play-offs.
  12. Bauers and no Collins again. Do we plan to go into the playoffs with Bauers as our starting LF. At this point, Collins needs to start getting regular at bats again, but I'm not sure Murphy agrees. Oh, and while we are at it, let's bench Durbin too. UGGGGGHHHHHHhhh1
  13. Do you guys actually agree with every move Murphy makes? He's obviously doing something right, but he can also improve at game management. The way you guys defend him, you'd think he was perfect. Plus, it's our job as fans to criticize him when he does do the head scratching things, it's part of what fandom is all about...
  14. I don't hate any teams as much as the hate I feel for the Cardinals and Cubs. To be honest, I hate the Cardinals far more than the Cubs, but that stems from the 1982 world series. I was a senior in high school at the time, and it is still with me today. It always will be until the Brewers can finally win one. I hate all teams that aren't the Milwaukee Brewers, but some more than others. My loyalty lies with one team and one team only. All other teams are the enemy. I'll never understand how anyone can claim to be a fan of more than one team, for any reason... That ideology makes zero sense to me, and you simply can't convince me that you can like more than one team. It's one team per sport, and one team only.
  15. Bauers in LF. This is just how it's going to be isn't it? Murphy feels obligated for some reason to play this guy every day, completely ignoring Hoskins, who we might just need at some point, to get a big hit. There is no way he will be able to help us out with practically zero at bats in forever. I am BOOOOOOOing Murphy right now...
  16. Like I said yesterday, he can't get anything going from the bench, and there has been no mention of injury.
  17. Fraidy cat! Beer muscles? lol Beer muscles implies I had been drinking beer before making that statement, then acting like an arrogant fool. Actually, no beer was consumed, and my opinion is just like, my opinion man... ABIDE!
  18. Also, Hoskins getting very few at bats isn't going to help us in the playoffs, assuming he is on the playoff roster.
  19. Can't improve that OPS from the bench.
