    ... until he reverts back to the way he was at the beginning of the year. If that would happen, then people would complain about that. The decision was made. The Brewers' MO has always been to be strong from the bump. It has served them very well. It reminds me of the guys that were sitting behind me today at the Brewers game. Ruiz hits the home run and they say, "Can you believe we traded this guy?" I guess getting Contreras wasn't a good trade. I am very happy for Durbin. Also, the Red Sox might not get cold feet when they want to trade some top quality pitchers to the Brewers 😉

    +1 except we were under the canopy in the 200 level. Plenty of balls in front of us... and we had ice cream too! Tim Dillard swung by as well.

    Now, if Contreras can try to keep his hands inside the ball and not be afraid to hit it to right center, he’ll get back to his excellent hitting ways.

    Not sure this would look good for the Brewers. Freddy hs been terrible this year. Too high of a risk.

    I got back from walking the dogs halfway through the top of the first. Little did I realize the game was over at that point. I don’t mind when they interview players in the dugout, but I can absolutely not stand it when they have people mic’ed up on the field. Out of the four major sports, I would still put baseball at the top. I truly believe the players are trying to do well. Sure, the batters are basically, “see ball, hit ball.“. My order would be: 1. Baseball 2. Hockey 3. Basketball 1000. Football

    I'm miffed, too. This reminds me of how they looked against the Dodgers in the NLCS last year. Yes, the difference between the Dodgers and the Pirates is... well... there isn't a difference. LOL. The Dodgers are just the best. They worked hard to get this lead. I think there is some frustration in the clubhouse because of injuries, poor decisions, etc. The team needs a mental break. I'm don't agree with cashing it in this weekend (one of the games for sure, or two could have been a win, though). They had better come back next week and kick some back sides.
