    The best part, which was not seen on TV, was when he very subtly urged the fans to get loud when he was walking back to his position. Nothing demonstrative, but it was on the scoreboard. The crowd got very loud.

    He hit balls that didn’t move much. He is still getting accustomed to recognizing MLB breaking balls. Many times, he looks really lost.

    That is my hope, too. Since nobody outside of Milwaukee really gives a rip about the Brewers, why would they know about Henderson? The only reason the national media knows about the Brewers' prospects is because they are on a list and somebody else did the research on them.

    I don't know if Finley had the experience. I think he is only the Interim GM with the Mavericks, isn't he? One name I thought would come up is Tom Saggisor. He was the president of RBC Wealth Management and recently left that position. He obviously knows about investments and has a bit of a name in the Wisconsin community.

    If May performs the same as what the Brewers were expecting Woodruff to perform this year, would you extend a contract to him? Not sure what he would be looking for (I'm sure not $22M). I know it is speculation, but would there be a chance he would sign if offered?

    The Dodgers are playing 4D chess. They will take care of business by not getting too worked up if the Cubs beat them because it puts stress on the Brewers. The Dodgers will turn up the heat against Milwaukee, for sure. Like you said, they have such a big lead in their division, they have nothing to worry about.

    A scant 45 days ago, people were getting frustrated with Ortiz because he was playing. Things change. Now like you, I'm frustrated that Ortiz is not playing every day.     That is a great point. I wonder if the Tigers have some type of agreement in place with Boras much the same way that the Milwaukee Bucks have a deal in place with Gary Trent, Jr.'s agent. It all seems very fishy to me, too. Either that, or the Tigers' FO is really, really inept.

    I am willing to stand up and admit I was wrong. While Arnold didn't get the biggest names on the market, I believe he did make some moves to help the team down the stretch. 39 lashes with wet noodles shall commence now... 😉
