The Badgers are playing physically and the refs are letting them play. You also have two guards who can take over a game. If Boyd can play within himself, I think the Badgers can go deep this year. On the other hand, if he shoulders someone like he did at the end of the Indiana game, oof. As much as MSU has been a rival over the years, I appreciate how (most of) Izzo's players play hard. #55 has incredible hops. I like Izzo as a coach. Anyway... Let's go, Bucky!

Rhode has at least one absolutely terrible turnover each game. It is the same long, forced bounce past each time.

I have thought about this, too. The ball is moving around a lot today. When Giannis is out there, the ball always seems to go through him. He might simply try to run someone over or back somebody down. Didn't he try to take more of a traditional role at the beginning of last year, but then decided to take charge when the team wasn't doing well? There seems to be good chemistry and if Giannis can plug into it, look out!

I'm guessing they signed him to establish the floor at 3B. Other players will work their way towards getting more playing time and the cream will rise to the top by the end of the year. I think I heard Murphy say that Durbin didn't start out 2025 playing third base. It keeps the players hungry. -

I looked at Brad Underwood. I think he already had three aneurysms during the game, and he wasn't too worked up... I don't think. It must have been so much fun when Fran was still at Iowa and they played Illinois.

I was entertained watching the Bucks tonight. Thomas and Dieng played well. How about "Jumpin'" Jericho Sims! KPJ coughs the ball up a little too often, but they still came out on top. Let's see how things go tomorrow on the back end of a back-to-back... against OKC no less.

Fortunately, we get ESPN Unlimited for free from Fubo now. That would go away if we unsubscribe. It is their way of saying, "we took away NBC, so here is ESPN." ESPN owns 70% of Fubo anyways.

I wouldn't be surprised if Turang does not move to short. Last year, his arm was sore after spring training due to playing too much SS. Hopefully, he will get a lot of reps at SS in the spring and remain healthy.

I had seen some rumblings that somebody would have to get the full-blown ESPN bundle in order to watch this. I'm guessing that is not the case? Looks like I have no reason to keep Fubo anymore. Going to look for some sports-based packages with some provider for a lot cheaper.

After watching the last 10 minutes of the Arizona / Kansas game, I believe there is, subconsciously, home cooking by the refs. That isn't why Arizona lost, but it fits into the discussion.

Would Giannis be willing to rebuild? For example, fire sale on everyone but Giannis. Not sure if the number of picks they would get back would be worth it, though. When they showed Bobby P on the bench last night, something just didn't look right. He was staring off and not really interacting with anyone. I tried to find it on the broadcast, but couldn't find it. Not sure if there is something going on there.

Speaking of Matt Damon, I watched "The Rip" this weekend on Netflix. It was pretty good and kept you thinking. The last quarter of the movie was as expected.

Williams could also be listed as INF/OF (or 2B/3B/OF). A little more valuable than Montestario. I didn't realize that Sproat threw six innings of scoreless ball in his MLB debut last year. I'm not sure how much work he needs, but I think he'll be on the roster at some point if he doesn't break camp on the roster.
