    My coworker took his son to G1 SRO. They looked at apps like StubHub to see what tickets are still available and went and sat in those seats. It was up in the 400’s but at least it wasn’t SRO.

    Being a linebacker vs. possibly screwing up someone's achilles? One caused a rag doll-ish effect while the other one was more subtle. Both were trash.

    While I think the win last night was a great one and very emotional, I would put the Game 162 win in 2008 to put them into the playoffs for the first time since 1982. The emotions that year were certainly different. For me, it felt like, "Wow... we traded for one of the top pitchers in the game and now the Brewers can be considered a 'good team.'" This year is different, though. The win yesterday gives some legitimacy to what we are feeling. The Brewers won 103 games, but are they really good. Contrary to what many outside of this board have said, not many people know about the Brewers. I thought it was finally said out loud on the Fox postgame report. Something to the effect of: not many people know about the Brewers. No kidding. I'll use a quote Dan Patrick made this week on his show: This year seems different and beating the Padres gives legitimacy to the Brewers season. Now, let's get after it against the Dodgers.

    I got some new respect for Vasgersian when he was throwing out some cool Milwaukee facts. I think Jeter gave him grief about that.

    For me, it needs to be Gasser. He has started and he has shown that he can do well against good right-handed bats. Patrick could start, but I'm not sure his mind will be ready. The only way I would pitch Harrison is if we are up four later in the game. The last time he pitched at Petco, he got lit up... bad. Too much risk. Miz should not see the mound at all. I would throw Henderson for an inning before Miz.

    Chourio and Contreras get into trouble when they get pull happy. Yesterday, they seemed to be pull happy. Go with the pitch. Square it up.

    If the Brewers lose, I wonder if the narrative will be how many runners the Brewers left on base? That was the excuse they had for the Padres losing the first two games.

    If you want to tailgate, then it is a good idea. If you aren't going to tailgate, head over to Dugout 54, buy a drink, then take the free shuttle. Mrs. Samurai and I park in that area and walk. We parked in Doyne Park because we couldn't find parking on the street, though. Sometimes it is tougher to find street parking over there for a Brewers game than it is for a Badgers game near Camp Randall.

    I really liked how they used Joseph with the read options. He had better throws, too. The one that was high across the middle was bad, but all in all, I thought it was a good performance. The two roughing the passer penalties were very questionable. I started calling them "Vegas Flags". You see Vegas Flags - a - plenty in the NFL. Pat Richter is looking very old. The Season Ticket Seat Holder of the game was sitting next to us. The gentleman that was with her said that Pat Richter was not able to walk out there by himself.

    I'll throw the Jesse Winker at bat your way... 😉 My point, a manager still has to establish some type of foundation. Of course the players have to execute. Counsell's clubhouse is much different than Murphy's clubhouse.
