  1. Gary Sheffield Edit: I see somebody beat me to this by a few minutes...
  2. Dave Bush: Jekyll and Hyde. Go figure. It was nice that he got a great outing. Now if he could just be consistent!!!!!
  3. I don't know if you are being punny or not. I believe "The High Numbers" is the name of the band who became "The Who". One guy looks like Pete Townshend so that is where I started to look.
  4. With Sexson in the last year of his contract, perhaps a deal involving Prince would be in order? Prince, Hall and Bush to Seattle for Ichiro.
  5. BTW: I'm also on the list of people who didn't know what Crocs were until I read this. I mentioned it to some friends on Sunday and they gave me a hard time. Of course, it was the women who gave me a hard time.
  6. I don't know, but 30 SB, .355 OBP and 47 R tells me he would be able to help out as a pure leadoff hitter right away.
  7. If you get them, you could probably put them next to your 4" black patent pumps... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Not that there's anything wrong with that... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif
  8. Oh... that's what those things are called. I always referred to them as the rubber shoes. I know a few guys that own them. I don't know if I want a pair, though.
  9. If I'm going to be shelling out money, they'd better find a way to give me something I can watch on my 52" LCD TV at home. Wait... that is what my DVR is for.
  10. There sure were a large number of fans that were Twins fans.
  11. I have to give some props to Bill Schroeder. I was sitting right below him and Brian Anderson. After the hulaballoo after Prince's triple, he was scanning the crowd. We all thought it was a homer (event the Twins fans behind us). I looked at him, made eye contact, and made the home run sign with a questioned look on my face. He shook his head no which took some of the anger out of we Brewer fans. He didn't have to do that, and I thought it was nice that he did. Thanks, Bill.
  12. I'm sure Ned has nothing to do with it.
  13. I have a feeling Sheeter will go to Houston if the Brewers don't pony up. He made a statement to a buddy of mine a few years ago as they were walking around before a signing that he would like to play for Houston. I think that is before he signed what is now his current contract.
  14. I'm glad it didn't connect. He's on my FBB team and he probably would have been hurt if he connected. Crash: "Nuke... tell me something. Did you hit me with your right or your left?" Nuke: "My left." Crash: "Good. Good. That's terrific..." Nuke: "What?" Crash: "If ya get in a fight with some a$$hole, never hit his with your pitching hand. Ya might get injured."
  15. Whoops... sorry about putting it in the wrong forum. I was so excited about just finding something to post... LOL!

  21. I don't know if it would be cost effective. You would have to probably change up the stories which would involve more staffing. You could have your one hour of death. It would just be an expansion of the 10 minutes of current news casts talking about all of the people murdered in the area.
  22. The only reason we go to GA is because our kids get free tickets as part of a reading program in school. That saves a boat load of cash. We pack a lot of ice and have a sandwich lunch. We will go out, put on our swimsuits, eat lunch at the car, go to the water park for a few hours. Then we come back to the car, change, and then we'll eat something on the grounds. It is really expensive, though. I wouldn't go if the kids didn't go -- and it was free for them.
