  1. I don't know if it was any worse but when the 4th inning comes around and your team is down 10-0 it becomes a miserable experience. The ones that were pounding it early are starting to pass out but there are still loud drunks, the police started to kick out more people and nobody is into the game because the Brewers are down by so much. I usually stick it out to the end but I couldn't take it anymore around the 7th and got out of there before the mass exodus and the fights in the parking lot.
  2. They really should have tried to push Richardson at AAA this year as they have a bunch of journeymen anyway. If he didn't cut it then release him during the season. They spent this much time on him, what is another couple of months.
  3. I could see each and every one of those guys play for the Brewers this year.
  4. Any team could have had him when he was removed from the 40 man so don't really care who he was traded to as he didn't have a future here. For his sake I hope he turns it around and gets a shot at playing in the majors.
  5. Don't really like the two remaining options but would go with Schafer out of the 2. Don't really see the need for Herrerra on this team when there is plenty of coverage at the utilty positions. If they got rid of Gomez or Jimenez and kept a bat like Clark or Rogers then Herrera would be fine as the utility guy.
  6. Thanks for the April fools reminder, now I won't be surprised when the Brewers trade for Mike Trout and Zach Greinke.
  7. If Braun bounced back and they were able to trade him sometime this year then I think they might extend Gomez. The more likely scenario is Gomez is traded before or during the 2016 season. Lucroy is probably the priority to extend.
  8. Meh, you are looking for an unicorn. At least Segura has put a 850 OPS for a half of a season so it is not like it is impossible he could be the answer.
  9. Yes, Nelson is a concern. Since the Brewers are still trying to sell themselves as a playoff team he will be on a short leash and I would agree. If/when they throw in the towel they can give him another shot. I have pretty much no confidence in him at this point.
  10. I still don't think it is likely Herrera makes the team as it is nice to have a guy like him available in AAA. However, if they really want to keep Clark I could see a scenario where they keep Herrera as the 5th outfielder and backup SS/3B and dump one of Jimenez/Gomez.
  11. I was hoping Dekker would stay another year but with the tourney he is having there is pretty much no chance now. Don't think Hayes has done enough to justify taking the risk and enter the draft though. Should be interesting to see what he does when he is the first option.
  12. They could also use some minor miracles such as Lara turning into a phenom and a major leaguer in a couple of years to fill 3B.
  13. My lineup: vs RHP Gomez Gennett Braun Lucroy Lind Ramirez Davis Segura vs LHP Gomez Segura Braun Lucroy Ramirez Davis Jimenez/Maldonado Gennett/Hector Gomez
  14. The games I mentioned were this spring for Sardinas not last year. Herrera did go 5/5 against the Cardinals last year, along with the bad throw.
  15. Sardinas struggled for the most part offensively but had a couple of really good games going 4/4 in one and 3/3 in another. Hopefully he can gain some offensive consistency in the minors.
  16. Finally got my tickets and vouchers for the bobbleheads.
  17. I think it crushed him that Weeks was done as an everyday player. Man he defended that guy like no one else and hanged onto the hope he would return to be a great player again.
  18. It is not ideal that Bradley may end up being a lefty specialist but there certainly is value in paying him league minimum versus a guy like Cotts $3 million.
  19. I think it would be a calculated risk to trade for him as it doesn't appear like Jimenez or Rogers will be the answer at third in 2016 and beyond. Would basically offer the Dodgers nothing to take on the salary. I like the idea of guaranteeing him another year if he got rid of his ability to opt out. I mean they are paying Ramirez $14 million this year and if I was a betting man I would say Guerrero would out hit him this year if given the chance.
  20. Doubt it goes to Rogers because it doesn't appear they have faith in him anymore being able to play third. Still think it is Jimenez as Melvin seems to like him even though Jimenez did bad in winter ball and spring training.
  21. Since you are with the family I would recommend going to Organ Piper Pizza right around hwy 100 and Layton. It is a place to experience at least once. Regarding the Country Springs, the water park is probably around 20 years now and starting to feel a little dated. Still an enjoyable place for the price but nothing like the Dells in my opinion. Definitely not in a bad area though.
  22. When mentioning all of these possible guys to remove one guy missing is Henderson himself. It has been over a year, might just be time to move one and if he wants to stay in the Brewers minor league system then fine.
  23. Yeah, not too often you hear a manager saying a player could get an opportunity with another team while he is still on your roster. I don't see him filling a role on this team now or in the future if they don't see him ever playing third.
  24. I don't know if Long is greater than Schafer but not likely much difference. If they ever need room on the 40 man I have no problem with them taking Schafer off since they have guys like Long, Peterso(e)n, Wren not taking up 40 man spots. Either way I don't see any of these guys making the big club to start the year.
  25. They are not as high on Tyron Taylor as most putting him at number 6. Already have Lara at #2. I liked the blurb on Denson that his plate discipline is so advanced that low minors umps frustrate him with their inconsistent zones, easy plus raw power and makeup that coaches love I'll have to keep my eye on Brandon Woodruff as well. Was not aware that his fastball sat at 94-97. On a side note I noticed they put Banda at #24 for the D-Backs, Haniger at #18.
