  1. ✅ Wrigley Field ✅ Petco Park ✅ Chase Field ✅ Coors Field Re: Wrigley, I got a tip from a friend.. I took the yellow line Dempster-Skokie train (parking at the station was $3, ride the train all day for $5), yellow line to red line drops you off right at Wrigley's doorstep. Train ride was 25-30 minutes maybe? 10/10. Will use it again. $8 total to avoid driving/parking in the heart of it all.
  2. Cincinnati is awesome in the upper deck behind the plate as well... You are looking out over the river. Great view.
  3. I know just about everybody had a good night at the plate... But Joey Ortiz getting on base 5 times tonight was really good to see.
  4. I was at Wrigley today and logged in to see LouisEly posting a pic from Colorado at the Brewers game and I thought .. I wonder what other stadiums we will all travel to this season? There are enough of us here that are regulars, I wonder if we can get to every stadium as a collective in 2025? Anyway, I'll start this thread off with my view from Wrigley this afternoon. Very chilly day, low attendance. Only seemed to bother one of the teams though. Feel free to add to this thread when you are at a visiting stadium this year! Add any "local knowledge" you think is helpful if you'd wish. BF's 2025 Stadium List ✅ Wrigley Field
  5. This is off topic from the game but I didn't want to make a separate thread on the board without getting a few opinions first if it would be fun. I see LouisEly is at the game tonight in Colorado and posted a picture of the view. I was in Chicago today so I went to Wrigley for the Rangers/Cubs game and obviously have a pic of my seats. There are enough of us scattered across the country that frequent this board and also travel.. I wonder if it would be fun to have a separate thread on the main board that people can post their views from other stadiums accross the country when they go? Would that be fun to track?
  6. I went to Wrigley for the game today. My teeth were chattering... It wasn't nice. Great game though... Fly that L.
  7. The legend that is Caleb Boushley has returned... https://x.com/mlbtraderumors/status/1909695726021472267
  8. I'm just not sure Tyler Black and Yophery had much leverage on each other. Yophery was 2 years away at minimum from reaching AAA. If anything, adding another AAA outfielder is a bad thing for Black's playing time there when he heals up..
  9. I think there is a great interest in his season given the circumstances and the above zero percent chance he gets offered back to us. I'll be keeping an eye on it.
  10. This is an interesting thought/concept. I need to marinate on it but I don't hate it.
  11. Two trades and we are 6% of the way into the season. With the makeup of our roster ... I wonder if we come close to double digit trade transactions before the year is over?
  12. Man what a whirlwind of emotions the last 48 hours must be/have been for Grant and his family. I hope he can break into an MLB game soon to fulfill the journey.
  13. It seems he will be getting the ball in one of our TBD slots in Colorado and oh boy ... what a night that will be. If he shows well all will be forgiven. If he shows poorly this place will be in flames. I'm excited for the drama.
  14. Going to need Quinn to go 2-0 against the Cubs this year to make this feel ok.
  15. As someone mentioned earlier, it also bums me out because our AAA arms must not be options right now? We don't like them enough to give them a chance before trading away all of that?
  16. Oh gosh, I originally read this trade as we got Quinn AND the pick and a PTBNL for Yophery and my thought was .. "dang, I liked Yophery but cool". I don't know much about Priester but I'm going to trust the brass. Secondary thoughts are that the injuries to the staff are not progressing the way we want them too, which is also a deep breath moment.
  17. I could be very wrong but I would be shocked if any of those places have had a position become available and didn't at least inquire. How many of the sideline reporters in those current markets are bilingual? Genuine question. Especially in those markets, Sophia would be worth 2x to the viewers in those places. She is very, very good at what she does for us and those other places have so many more eyes on their product. I liked Trenni and she was poached so quickly. Until I'm told otherwise I have to believe Sophia has chosen to stay in lieu of other opportunities. Again, I could be wrong.
  18. The home run Burke hit was an absolute nuke.
  19. I have no information on this but I have to assume she has been offered. I'm assuming her being from here gives the Brewers the chance they need to keep her .. hopefully they have given her the bump each time she is approached to warrant her staying.
  20. The Timber Rattlers sell one I believe.
  21. Nevermind. 1000 IQ play by Ortiz Bunt Bauers to 2nd so the wild pitch puts him into scoring position for the actual safety swinging bunt from Dunn. Brilliant.
  22. Ok, I trust the process but not quite sure why we are safety bunting with no outs with runners on the corners and a 2-1 count? Ortiz when I said earlier that today would be a great day for a breakout at the plate... Not quite what I envisioned.
  23. Turned the TV on and Sal Frelick is on base. Shocked.
  24. A Joey Ortiz offensive coming out party would be most welcome..
