Moving into September was it really only Tellez and Winker as the options though? Mitchell provides so much more, even when you take the bat out of the equation. I realize the Brewers' brass knows better than us ... but take a quick poll on this site on who people would want in a critical situation right now between Winker and Hiura .. I think it is a landslide. Winker and Black, I think the same. Heck, Winker and Chourio. I guess I didn't realize on 9/1 that the Brewers were going to decide between Rowdy and Winker for a pinch hitting spot ... otherwise there would have been noise amongst the fan base, no? We had no more options?

I haven't started drinking yet today but I promise if I see Winker as the DH today because he has a hit off of Gallen in his career... it won't take me long to find the bottom of this Jack bottle.

I don't know where else to put this - did we use to have a designated ticket thread on this site? I have 1 extra ticket to tonight's game back behind the 1st base dugout... I don't want to put them on stubhub because Chicago folks will get them. Would love to sell to someone on this site possible who will cheer for the right team. Where can I do that? -

I think you're on to something here. I've always wondered why GM's don't each just acquire four all stars every off-season who all pan out to make their lineup as good as possible.
