  1. Optically it is just really important for our DH to be able to hit. That felt good. BA well above .175 now ;)
  2. Almost wanted Joey to swing at that 3-2 pitch for fear of an inevitable Dunn ground ball here.
  3. Turang is listed at 190lb and he looks about 2/3 the size of Montero ha
  4. 26 in the first. We might be seeing Henderson today after all?
  5. Here he is a week ago. I'm not buying 145.
  6. What a trade for Priester. Never doubted it for a second.
  7. I probably agree that Hoskin gets the rest of the month to figure things out. After that, he may find himself with a lingering quad issue or something that lands him on the DL for 3 weeks so Ernesto can come show the team if he is going to be overmatched.
  8. Just to prepare you moving forward, there are going to be plenty of games the rest of the season where we play better than the opponent and don't win.
  9. Flush yesterday. Can I request a Jake Bauers start please against the RHP?
  10. I imagine Payamps will discover an injury tomorrow.
  11. Whatever is happening right now is not ok.
  12. I just saw Chafin's name... He is pitching for a Triple A squad somewhere.
  13. Oh. Nevermind. I thought Murph and I were on the same page but we are reading different books.
  14. It's wild that half of our lineup would raise their average with a 1-5 night..
  15. So Mears is the new Payamps until Yoho is the new Payamps.
  16. Woodruff touching 95 tonight. That's exciting!
  17. Trivia Question: Through 14 games who is the Brewers current leader in OBP and OPS? (((Small sample size stat alert!!!!))) . . . . . . Jake Bauers (.412 OBP - .950 OPS)
  18. There is a a Draftkings sports book directly across the street from Wrigley as well.
  19. I know he is making a broader point but Cortes is just not the guy to use as your bridge to do so right now. He is in a contract year. The very last thing he wants to do right now is underperform and/or get hurt.
  20. ?? Boss hires you to do work at contracted price. You get hurt doing the work for the boss. Boss tells you he is no longer paying you, you have to go home and fix yourself, and he will pay you if and when you come back healthy enough to work?
  21. Yelich is going to take an 0-4 on the day but he came up twice with a runner on 3rd and less than two outs and got the run home both times... mental note.
  22. For as much belly aching as I and we like to do over the contact play ... need to admit when it works. Capra had a good jump.
  23. Both the Brewers and Cortes are running businesses. Cortes probably has $30-$80 million dollars left in his arm for his career if he can manage it correctly. If you are him, why on earth would you risk blowing it up unnecessarily? If he is healthy, go out there and compete and improve your stock/play the game. If you are not healthy, get healthy.
