  1. The city completely missed by not having Potawatomi linked with the stadium. The no gambling near muh sports crowd won out. This would have put the area in a better spot than it is in now. Just a completely wasted opportunity.
  2. Jordan Love still reminds me of Jay Cutler when he was with the Broncos. Good arm with some accuracy issues mixed in with some bad decisions.
  3. By 2045 will baseball even be a major sport? The way it has been trending that would be a no. It is currently falling farther and farther behind the NBA and NFL. MLB is clearly the #3 sport in the US and it is far behind the NBA at #2 and the NFL at #1. Only the NBA has been gaining ground on the NFL in terms of popularity. It is possible soccer or another sport surpasses MLB at the #3 spot. I don't think the money will be there for teams to move like they do now. The NFL and NBA sure but not MLB. There are only a few cities left where it makes sense to move to and there will be two less in the next 2-5 years. With the Rays getting their stadium situation handled and the A's looking like they will leave Oakland for Las Vegas it is only a matter of time before expansion starts. The MLB commissioner has gone on record stating once those two stadium situations are resolved the league will be expanding. The Brewers will obviously ask for a new stadium come 2045 and they probably will need one at that time. I am just not sure the economic climate will be the same as it is today when it comes to cities bidding for teams. Nashville, Charlotte, Salt Lake City, Austin, Montreal and Portland are all possibilities for expansion in the next 2-5 years. Nashville is probably the only guarantee here to get a team as they have the backing already set in place. Will Nashville do two new stadiums in a few years? I am not sure on that but it is possible. If the Brewers do ask for a new stadium I think they will move the stadium to a more financially viable site. Probably just tear down that whole area and create a business or industrial park. I am not sure where else the Brewers could move to once the lease is up but I don't think they would stay in the current area. Maybe they move to Mequon or the Brown Deer area.
  4. Defense needs a lot of work but offensively they are starting to click a bit.
  5. That looked real bad for Mellusi. Probably out for the year. Sucks because he was finally healthy and showing what he could do.
  6. Hamilton and Surhoff were my two favorite players on the Brewers.
  7. This has to be a team record for the most runs in one inning?
  8. Acuna just hit his 40th HR that gives him a 40/40 season only 4 other players have done this. I think Acuna has the NL MVP locked up. He is the first player to have 40 home runs and 60 stolen bases. If he steals two more bases he will be the only player to hit 40 HR's and 70 SB's.
  9. https://www.mlb.com/news/rosters-announced-for-2023-arizona-fall-league For the Brewers it is: Eric Brown Jr., SS; Hendry Mendez, OF; Wes Clarke, 1B/C; Joseph Hernandez, RHP; Justin King, LHP; Adam Seminaris, LHP; Justin Yeager, RHP
  10. If CC does come back I would expect the Brewers will be bringing everyone back so no Burnes, Woodruff or Adames trade(s) and it will be on a short term deal probably a one year deal with options for a second or third year. If the Brewers plans this off season are to trade all three or one then I don't see CC coming back. CC will definitely have his pick of teams that he could coach for. The White Sox, Red Sox, Yankees, Mets and even the Padres could be options.
  11. While Seitzer isn't young I think he will be a popular name come this off season as a possible manager for some team out there. If we go from CC to Seitzer it wouldn't be the worst move.
  12. Surprised no one put the greatest Brewers manager of all time up yet! If Counsell would only be 1/10 as good as #3 we would have 3 WS championships already!!!!!!! It was a travesty that he was fired when he was!
  13. If the Brewers already have the division wrapped up I don't see these games being anything more than a spring training game.
  14. LIES THAT NEVER HAPPENED! STOP WITH THE VOODOO VIDEO EDITING!!!!
  15. Greatest BREWER EVER he should be on the walk of fame and his number retired!
  16. I am not sure I have seen anyone as bad as Walker has been in the OF in the last two games.
  17. What if instead of cars everyone had their own train.
  18. AHEM it is coach Prime!!!!!! Who is this Deion Sanders person????
  19. There is about 1500 innings every season so yes those 10 1/3 innings are fairly meaningless.
  20. Apparently I got it wrong and it is the NFL filing a grievance against the NFLPA for RB’s and their negotiating tactics and not the NFLPA filing the grievance for RB’s. https://theathletic.com/4875371/2023/09/18/nfl-nflpa-running-backs-grievance/?source=user_shared_article
