  1. I think Junis is probably closer to Chacin than he is to Teheran. I think Junis will be around a 4 ERA pitcher which to me sounds about right.
  2. It really looks like Doc does not like Beauchamp. I think Beauchamp is gone by the deadline just not sure who will be included with him.
  3. Unknown but it will probably be a premium channel. So you would have to pay to access.
  4. This team is a paper tiger.
  5. Majority of people in the Phoenix area know that Maryvale is not a safe area. Your skin color or if you speak Spanish or not doesn’t really matter. You can hear and talk in Spanish just about everywhere in Phoenix. Nearly every single neighborhood is Spanish speaking even the suburbs. If you live here long enough you know that Maryvale is not a safe area once the sun goes down. A lot of drugs and drug use in that area. Plenty of gang crimes and plenty of shootings. It is not Chiraq but it is also not safe to be out there late at night. There are only a few other areas I wouldn’t want to be in Phoenix compared to Maryvale.
  6. This is only true if you are looking at the market of a single player. If you are looking at the market for a group of players then no this is not correct.
  7. LOL is rain wet?
  8. Feels like a Chacin signing with the slider and sinker combo. Though I think Chacin was slider and fastball but I could be remembering incorrectly about that.
  9. Expensive but the Innings festival and the extra innings festival are fun. I think Yount was there last year. https://www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/music/2023/11/07/innings-festival-2024-lineup/71487727007/#:~:text=Innings Festival 2024 returns with, performance by Jimmy Eat World. I like the Dbacks park the best.
  10. I don't think this works but. Brewers get: Bryan Woo and River Ryan Mariners get: Gavin Lux Dodgers get: Devin Williams and Willy Adames Probably need something else going to the Mariners.
  11. The thing with Belichick is that he will take your team backwards. It is like hiring Tony LaRussa in baseball. Forget any kind of analytics at all for your team as he won’t even listen to them if he will even allow them in the coaching room at all. Also your coaching staff will be a lot smaller as Belichick will only bring in guys he trusts which is a small handful of guys. If they suck they suck he won’t hire anyone else outside of that small circle. Belichick may still be a great defensive game planner but that is all you are getting from him. If you want your team to be more analytical or bringing in more coaches to up skill your other players then Belichick is not who you want. Dallas and Philadelphia are not places where Belichick would thrive. It would be one season max and I doubt he makes it a full season at either of those teams before he is fired. The Colts are probably the team that would hire him and probably give him the GM role also.
  12. Probably the only league he will coach in again.
  13. Apparently no one wanted Belichick as a HC. Maybe he can become the greatest HC in another league now. Unless someone gets super desperate next year Belichick is done and thank goodness.
  14. Not sure why some want Clevinger. He is just a guy and would probably be just average to below average as a #3 or #4 type starter. He had an xFIP of 5.15 last year. That is not someone I would want the Brewers to spend money on in FA. The Brewers already have Clevinger signed and his name is Wade Miley. Just say not Clevinger like the DARE program taught us!
  15. I would rather just sign Trevor Bauer for a 1 or 2 year deal.
  16. I think the Brewers would prefer Cabrera over Rogers. I don't believe the Brewers would have any interest in Groshans or Zubia. Would need to replace them with something else that I don't think the Marlins have.
  17. Yes Wilken to 1B or a corner OF spot if Wiemer or Mitchell don't pan out.
  18. Now that Burnes is going to the Orioles lets trade Peralta to the Twins. I would do this trade in a heartbeat but not sure the Twins would agree to it. Brewers get: Lee (3B), Soto (SP) and Festa (SP) Twins get: Peralta This would give the Twins a starting pitcher they need after losing Gray in FA. A big plus is that Peralta is not all that expensive. The Brewers get a MLB ready 3B. Lee could probably start right now for the Brewers and probably put up close to AS level production at 3B. Soto is a the long term project and then Festa would be a really good add. I came away impressed seeing him pitch a few times in the minors. He looked to do better in AAA than he was doing in AA. He has developed some really good command recently and he has a nice slider. He has also bumped up his velocity on his FB going from low 90's in college to now throwing consistently in the mid 90's and topping out around 97MPH when I saw him pitch. I think a trade like this would really help both the Brewers and Twins. A lot of the help for the Brewers would come in '25. Festa could be a nice pitching prospect to put between Misio and Gasser. Festa probably tops out around a #2 or #3 pitcher but he could be an ace if everything goes correctly. In '25 you could have an IF of Turang (SS), Lee 3B, Black 2B and Ortiz Util. That only leaves 1B as a spot to upgrade at in the IF. Defensively Turang at SS should be good while Lee and Black provide at least above average offense at their respective positions.
  19. I just don’t like the players coming back. Value wise it is correct. I just don’t like Hall or Ortiz.
  20. But I was told countless number of times that Burnes would cost at least one top 30 plus more!
  21. You do know that MA was the one who reached out to Hoskins agent to get the deal done right? Right?
  22. Horrible deal. I am not a big fan of Hall and Ortiz is just meh.
