  1. If there were a viable replacement for him in AAA then I would say soon but there really isn't a viable replacement and no Hiura is not a viable replacement for Wiemer. The replacement would need to be able to play CF or another OF spot and not be an absolute b-52 flying over North Carolina carrying nuclear weapons crashing to the ground with the nuclear weapons almost exploding type of defense.
  2. Yeah this one looks to be a free article there. https://theathletic.com/4768421/2023/08/11/wisconsin-recruiting-xavier-lucas/
  3. Burnes pitching like first half Burnes.
  4. The Athletic has him as a 3-star so went with 3-star.
  5. Another 3-star DB has committed to the Badgers.
  6. Dark mode needs some fixin. @Brock Beauchamp
  7. You have to be ready to hit by 8 seconds. He wasn't in the box so auto strike. That was a very catchable ball that was some poor route running in CF.
  8. It definitely hopped up not sure what you were watching as it was in front of him. If it wasn't it wouldn't have hit him in the chest.
  9. That was definitely a bad hop. The ball was looking like it was going to be down and then hopped up and hit him in the chest. If that isn't a bad hop then I don't know what would qualify as such.
  10. Not much you can do in that situation. The ball looked to be going down and then hopped up on him. That shouldn't have been an error. He did everything right in that situation.
  11. It is not wise to allow Houser to go through the lineup more than two times.
  12. How is ‘83 41 years ago? 2023-1983 = 40.
  13. College football and basketball has been a money first education fifth type of programs for about 30 years now. You are not putting that genie back in the bottle. I have no problem with the players being paid as I believe they should be and always should have been paid. They are providing a service in the form of entertainment. If the tickets were free and there were no TV rights then sure the players shouldn't get paid then. I think that is the only way you could go back to where players don't get paid. I believe you would also need to shorten the season and limit travel also so the players are able to focus on school as much as they are required to focus on the sport. The players have been treated like employees by the universities for some time now. It is only fair that they get paid like employees also.
  14. So just another conspiracy theory got it.
  15. Can you prove that Stearns has already agreed to take the job and no your wild conspiracies don't count.
  16. If Cashman is let go I think Stearns ends up with the Yankees and not the Mets. The Mets may be Stearns childhood favorite team but the Yankees are a bigger name than the Mets. If the Yankees came calling it is going to be the Yankees who get Stearns and not the Mets regardless of who Stearns is a fan of and no matter how much money is thrown at him.
  17. Yelich for comeback player of the year in the NL?
  18. The only thing he got right was the Candelario but it wasn't an overpay as the Brewers offered the same value to the Nationals in Adams and Lara who are very similar prospects to what the Cubs gave up. I was told by a Nationals insider the Brewers offer was close to being accepted but they liked the Cubs prospects more. This wasn't a Quintana situation where the Cubs went fully overboard and overpaid. I believe it is and I believe they posted this around the same times there were rumors of the Brewers talking with Adames about an extension. From what I was told neither side got very far other than exchanging that each party was interested in an extension. That is as far as an extension for Adames got. This is from a friend of Adames agent so take it with a really small grain of salt.
  19. 2021 Brewers 66-45 2018 Brewers 65-51 2011 Brewers 65-50 2008 Brewers 64-51 1992 Brewers 58-49 1983 Brewers 61-46 I think there maybe one more I didn't check the other 80's teams. Though there is a really long stretch of very bad from '93-'06. I never want to go back to 90's and early 00's Brewers baseball. That '92 team was basically the last year of a good team in Milwaukee for almost 20-years.
  20. Maybe he comes out for the 8th but at 94 pitches to end the 7th so the 8th would have been it. I doubt he would of gotten through the 8th on anything less than 110 pitches.
  21. You have to wake them up and then put them to bed next half inning. Sorry dem r da rules!!!
  22. Repeat after me I before E except after……. This way you will never spell Wiemer incorrectly ever again.
  23. This is probably going to be a bad Peralta game. Slider looks horrible and if he continues to leave it over the plate this is going to be worse than Rea’s last start.
