  1. He would definitely be there at 15 and may still be available later in the first round possibly into the 2nd.
  2. I think the Cardinals if they trade up it wouldn't be for a QB but for a pass rusher. I could see teams wanting to trade up to get a pass rusher. The Bears won't get back as much as it would be if it were a QB but they should still get at least 2 first round picks for it. I think the same with Seattle I could see something like 5, 20, 36 and a future 3rd round pick for the 1st pick. I think that would be something Seattle would do to get Anderson at the #1 pick. I think Houston is fine staying where they are at and the same with the Colts. I think the Lions also trade out of their pick.
  3. If Rodgers retires the Packers would have a cap hit of -$68m if Rodgers retires before 6/1. Which the Packers are already in a negative cap space for 2023. The Packers have two options if Rodgers doesn't retire and that is trade him post 6/1 or keep him and trade Love. I think Love would bring back a late 2nd or early 3rd round pick at best.
  4. Liam Hendricks diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. https://www.mlb.com/news/liam-hendriks-non-hodgkins-lymphoma-diagnosis
  5. No the Brewers would be a team that would be retracted there is no doubt about it. Milwaukee will be in a perpetual situation of needing revenue sharing same with the Royals. Royals and Brewers are teams 1a and 1b for retraction. If the Brewers wouldn’t have received a new stadium they were going to be retracted from the league. They wouldn’t have moved they were going to be removed completely from the league before the Miller Park deal went through. Milwaukee is just a poor spot for a team in MLB. The media market is the smallest and even their attendance doesn’t help all that much. If the league retracts it is a guarantee that the Brewers will be one of the teams.
  6. If Bauer signs with the Brewers he will only be hounded by the media for about one day and then he will be forgotten by the national media until he plays in LA or NYC. The media circus just won’t be there in Milwaukee like it would be in NYC or LA. The concern about him rubbing guys the wrong way is accurate. But that hasn’t stopped teams in the past with Clemens, Schilling, Bonds, Sheffield and others.
  7. The Brewers would 1000% be one of the teams to be retracted. Probably the Rays, A’s and Royals being the other 3 maybe the Pirates instead of the Rays or Royals.
  8. The next time expansion will come up is in the next CBA which should be around when the Rays and A's should have their stadium issues either cleared up, settled or have moved. The A's and Rays could eliminate two of the cities that MLB is looking to expand to so that is why expansion is currently on hold. MLB wants to expand and will expand once the Rays and A's stadium situations are solved for. The A's look like they will be staying in Oakland and the Rays look like they are on their way out. In the scenario of the A's staying in Oakland that open ups Vegas as a city and that will be the west coast team. Depending on where the Rays go (Charlotte, Nashville, Jacksonville or Montreal) that leaves one of those four cities getting an expansion team. I think the Rays go to Charlotte which leaves Nashville and Montreal as option 1a and 1b. This will all depend on who can get a good ownership group and a stadium bill passed. I think if Nashville gets a MLB team then the Sounds will move from Nashville to Montreal with MLB paying the bill for this. If the A's move to Vegas and the Rays move to Charlotte then I think Nashville and Montreal get teams. If the Rays and A's both stay then we could possibly see 4 new teams. Las Vegas, Austin, Nashville and Charlotte/Montreal would be the four cities that get teams which then the MLB would be more like the NBA 17 teams in each league and no divisions with the teams divided by geographic location. With 34 teams I think this is what MLB realignment would look like. AL: Yankees Red Sox Blue Jays Mets Phillies Pirates Nationals Orioles Reds Guardians Tigers Marlins Rays Nashville Charlotte Braves Astros NL: Cubs White Sox Brewers Cardinals Rangers Las Vegas Austin A's Diamondbacks Rockies Dodgers Padres Giants Twins Royals Angels Mariners
  9. Because if you want a MLB player in return you are more than likely are going to be getting an OF over an IF based on the teams that have been rumored to be interested in starting pitchers. If the Brewers prefer prospects over MLB players then you maybe able to get an IF instead of an OF but I think the Brewers would prioritize a pitcher over a positional player if they are going the prospect route. So here are a few trades that I think are possible: Orioles get: Lauer Brewers get: Santander and one of (Comp Balance Pick/McDermott/Pinto/Rom/Gillaspie) Blue Jays get: Lauer Brewers get: Barger and Horwitz Rangers get: Lauer Brewers get: Ornelas and Bratt Yankees get: Lauer Brewers get: Beck, Beeter and Selvidge Red Sox get: Lauer Brewers get: Drohan, Rodriguez-Cruz and Seabold MLB talent wise it will be an OF as the other teams don't really have a spare IF to trade away. If you want IF it will be for a prospect. Probably the best deal would be Toronto if you are looking for an IF.
  10. I say
  11. I was thinking about this today and I think it would be best to redo the realignment. Here is what I would like to see if realignment were to happen. American League: East Boston Red Sox New York Yankees New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Toronto Blue Jays North East Pittsburgh Pirates Baltimore Orioles Washington Nationals Cleveland Guardians Cincinnati Reds South Atlanta Braves Miami Rays Carolina (Marlins) Texas Rangers Houston Astros National League: North Detroit Tigers Chicago Cubs Chicago White Sox St. Louis Cardinals Nashville (A's) Midwest Milwaukee Brewers Minnesota Twins Arizona Diamondbacks Kansas City Royals Colorado Rockies West Los Angeles Angels Los Angeles Dodgers San Francisco Giants San Diego Padres Seattle Mariners
  12. Lauer makes sense for Angels, Orioles and the Red Sox. I am not sure if there are any other matches out there. Rather small pool of teams to create a bidding war to raise his value. Right now Lauer is worth about $9-12m in surplus value. That doesn’t really get you all that much. If you want an MLB piece back then Santander is probably the best you can do. If the Brewers trade Lauer or Houser then it will be for a MLB piece. I don’t see the Brewers trading for prospects unless another FA signing is on the way.
  13. No thanks he is done.
  14. Depends how comfortable are you with not having a physical bank to go to? Any of these are good: https://www.nerdwallet.com/best/banking/high-yield-online-savings-accounts
  15. What about a cooler backpack instead of a cooler? Should be able to hold 30 or so cans in the backpack. So something like this: https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/yeti-hopper-m20-soft-backpack-cooler-22yetuhpprm20bpclrec/22yetuhpprm20bpclrec?sku=23244314
  16. Soto and Ohtani are like 12 $600 looks to be on the low end right now.
  17. Unacceptable cracks whip get to work now mods!!!!
  18. I liked most of the Avenger movies. The first Guardians of the Galaxy movie was good more of an action comedy I guess than an action movie. It is more of a nostalgia movie to be honest though with 70's and 80's references mostly. The recent movies though are mostly garbage. The recent movies have been extremely bad at setting up the characters and going through character progression. If you want a breakdown of the Marvel Movies just watch Critical Drinker on YouTube. He basically breaks everything down and where the plots make absolutely no sense at all. This is a breakdown of Phase 4. There is some colorful language used so don't listen if you are offended by that language. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rZVvSohF-Q
  19. The Contreras trade nearly every reporter questioned Ruiz's value so I don't see how that is incorrect on the site. Ruiz's value to the A's was far higher than what most teams would have put it as and most sports writers would put it as. The owner of the site commented on the trade and was confused by what the A's were doing. The Grisham/Davies for Urias/Lauer deal was pretty close and wouldn't you want them to update the information if they believe they got it wrong on the values? The site isn't 100% accurate and it is fairly scientific on how they are coming up with their values. I believe they are about 90% accurate on their valuation. The Hader trade was very accurate on their site along with the Soto, Turner/Scherzer trade and a bunch of others were very close in value. There will always be trades that don't make sense because teams make trades that don't make sense. The Aramis Ramirez trade made no sense for the Pirates to do with the Cubs but they still made that trade. GM's and teams make dumb trades from time to time. You can't account for that in a calculation. Yes the A's made a dumb trade to acquire Ruiz. They could have acquired Ruiz in a completely separate trade but chose not to.
  20. I only watch the ones I am interested in. Which is probably just Antman and Guardians of the Galaxy right now everything else is just a mess and horrible incoherent scripts.
  21. That makes more sense and is annoying. I am guessing they had a big order come in and that took priority to finish at the time. I guess it would have been better for that to be late than early.
  22. You want your food to be sitting under a heating lamp?
  23. They have not been so so wrong on their values please provide facts if you are going to say something like that. They have been off but not by much really.
  24. That is just a troll post on Twitter. I don't believe there is any truth to this as this is more than likely the highheat version of a sports show host.
  25. For trades it goes GM and then the owner approves or denies the trade. Most of the time the owner approves the trade and it is normally trades that are going to impact the MLB roster for the most part.
