  1. I thought there was another recent one not as bad as the Gard one but another outburst.
  2. At some point the boosters at Michigan are going to have enough of Howard especially if he is not producing results. I think he will have one more year and if he doesn't bring some better results he will be gone. You can deal with the character flaws (Bobby Knight) if the team is producing results but once those results start to tank then the character flaws become more annoying and more of a focal point.
  3. I think this is why the Brewers actually match up really well with Bauer. What the Brewers have been doing with their pitching clinic in AZ is basically right up Bauer's line of thinking. I wouldn't be surprised if the Brewers picked him up on a one year deal.
  4. The Brewers recently haven't been in the mix with FA until later in the off season. The last big sign the Brewers had was Grandal and that wasn't until Mid January and the other big sign for the Brewers being Cain that didn't happen until the end of January. Expecting the Brewers to sign someone early is foolish at best. The Brewers front office seems to have a plan and that is to wait it out and wait for a player to drop to them at their price range or what they are comfortable in offering them. I believe the reliever market is coming up really good for the Brewers and there are still some decent options left on the board in Britton, Smith, Chapman, and others. Britton is probably the best out of the bunch and he is only looking for a one year deal. I could see the Brewers adding Britton, Rosenthal and one of Longoria, Harrison, Anderson or Profar. I don't believe any of these players will get more than a one year contract.
  5. I think Wagner is deserving to be in the HOF. If you look over his 16-year career it is very much an elite level for a relief pitcher. If Wagner is not a HOF player then really anyone besides Rivera and Hoffman in the last few years are the only relief pitchers who are HOF players then.
  6. Unemployment is based on who is paying you. So if your paychecks are coming from the agency then the unemployment claim goes against the agency and not the company you are working at. Technically you are working for the agency and not the company you are working at. You would need to look at how the agency handles unemployment claims. They may fight it because you didn't ask them if there are any temporary jobs available for the holidays for you to work at.
  7. With Evers, Wolf and LaCrue already committed to WI and if Mordecai comes I just don't see a spot for Burkett. Burkett may want to think about transferring at some point because I don't think he will keep his scholarship and I think he is in danger of losing his spot on the team. LaCrue will more than likely be redshirted so that leaves open one more spot for QB and I just don't see it being Burkett with Mordecai, Evers and Wolf on the team. Maybe Wolf is the one who will transfer but that still leaves Burkett as QB3 and he is only ahead of LaCrue because of the redshirt status.
  8. Burkett is about the same as Wolf. I don't see Burkett being anything more than an emergency QB. Evers is the best prospect with LaCrue probably being redshirted. So I think it will be Evers QB1 Wolf QB2 and Burkett as QB3 if the Badgers even keep 4 QB's that is for '23. LaCrue maybe the emergency QB over Burkett but that is a long ways to go before spring and finding out who will be staying and who will be going.
  9. There is no link to video games and violence or movies for that matter either. The problems are from other issues normally with the death of the nuclear family. Though car rental companies do not allow for KIA's and other cars to be parked in Milwaukee county. https://wtmj.com/news/2022/06/02/kia-boys-documentary-goes-behind-the-scenes-of-milwaukees-car-theft-reckless-driving-crisis/ https://news.yahoo.com/kia-boys-social-media-videos-220715008.html
  10. Is there something in the water in Atlanta that these players are taking these team friendly deals?
  11. It is not the car driving that is a freedom it is the freedom of movement to go where ever you want to go.
  12. J.J. Watt will be retiring after the 2022 season. https://www.nfl.com/news/cardinals-de-j-j-watt-announces-retirement-following-conclusion-of-2022-season#:~:text=Cardinals defensive end J.J.,home game in the NFL.
  13. It is not just up & in that is the problem for Hiura it is basically the whole upper part of the strike zone that is the problem. Since someone compared Adames to Hiura. By far Adames is the better player than Hiura and it is not even close.
  14. This can be done soon it is that the majority of vehicles just don't have the technology in them. Right now the average year of a vehicle is 2009-2011. Which is basically the start of all of the GPS and other advanced options are starting to pop up in vehicles. Though there is some risk here that you are giving up some freedoms and becoming more of a police state.
  15. I don't care what a player does during their personal time. The only thing I care about is if the player helps the Brewers win. If Bauer helps the Brewers win then I want him on the team if he doesn't then I don't want him on the team. I think he helps the Brewers win and it would put them over the top in terms of their starting rotation. The Brewers would have 2 aces and a #1 pitcher going 1-3 with a good #2 or #3 pitcher at the #4 spot. I don't care what Bauer did or does that is basically a dream rotation. I don't really cheer for players anymore. It is the team that I cheer for and there are probably already some players who are just like Bauer on the team already and probably someone in the Brewers organization also.
  16. This is the company that provides the digital license plates: https://reviver.com I believe they connect through cell towers and Wi-Fi. If no connection it just shows the metal plate. I believe the plate will show as stolen if you report your car as stolen.
  17. There are already digital license plates in CA and AZ. I think TX and another state or two were starting to allow them for commercial vehicles with non commercial vehicles coming later.
  18. I sleep with my window open here in AZ and it gets down to about 35-40 at night. I don't turn the heat on at all.
  19. He has been averaging about 40 goals a season. If the strike and COVID shortened seasons wouldn't have happened he would be closer to Gretzky now. He could play into his 40's and get between 15-20 a goals a season then. I think he catches Gretzky but without those lost seasons he probably could have reached closer to 1,100 goals. Ovechkin is by far the greatest hockey player since Gretzky and the media really doesn't even care about Ovechkin getting close to Gretzky at all.
  20. This would be my playlist on a loop while I wasn't home for them to listen to: Baby Shark, Crazy Frog Song, Never Gonna Give You Up, Gucci Gang, Manha Manha, Earth Song, Friday, Call me Maybe and I Love You. Put that on repeat while you are away and they will be begging you what they can do to make it stop.
  21. Chapman is still available. I would take Chapman on a 1-year $10m deal. I think that is a far better deal for the Brewers than what Rogers and Kimbrel have signed for.
  22. Doubtful as Hiura had short period where he was good and then was basically garbage. In September Hiura played in 4 less games than McCutchen and only put up a 41 wRC+ while McCutchen put up a 98 wRC+. Hiura's splits by month: There is a pattern here he has an unsustainable BABIP which when it crashed his results started to come crashing back down. A .400 and .500 BABIP are not sustainable. Hiura is probably more of a .750-.800 OPS player than he is a .900+ OPS player. As for Hiura's future it is not with the Brewers. I fully expect him to be traded and he won't be on the Brewers OD roster.
  23. Bauer for Yelich who says no first?
  24. Feliciano's defense has just not developed at all. In the off season he has trained with the anointed one Yadier Molina. Even with him training with Yadier Molina his defense hasn't improved. I think he just ran out of time with the Brewers as it doesn't look like what they have been trying to do nor what he has been doing in the off season has helped him become better defensively. He may just need a reset and going to the Tigers may be that reset he needs. His bat is good enough at catcher really you only need to be a 85-90 wRC+ catcher to provide value with good to average defense. I really liked Feliciano but it seems like the Brewers wanted to move on and let him play somewhere else.
