I believe the Cardinals have walked away from the trade talks with the Rays for Price and have now moved onto getting Hamels. I believe the Cardinals were told that they would not get a window to sign Price long term and have now backed out of the Price sweepstakes and are no longer in the running for Price. The Dodgers have also made it clear that Pederson is not available and are also out of the Price trade talks. That leaves a few teams left to trade for Price which includes the Brewers, Cubs, Mariners, and a surprise team probably the Pirates get involved. I believe the Pirates are going to be the team that lands Price and I can see them dealing him to the Mariners in the off season for Walker and another prospect. I believe the deal will be Bell, Kingman, and Jacoby Jones. The Pirates have enough OF depth that they can trade Bell and Jones. The best part of this trade for the Pirates is that they don't even trade their best prospect in the deal.
