  1. Think along the lines of the Dan Haren deal that is what it would take to get Peavy.
  2. 1. Hart 2. Durham 3. Braun 4. Fielder 5. Hardy 6. Cameron 7. Counsell 8. Sabathia 9. Kendall Hart can't hurt us with a strike out or a first pitch out at the top of the line up as much as him being behind Fielder and Hardy with men on.
  3. Cubs fans v Philadelphia fans Who wins the most obnoxious award?
  4. Uggg Fastball down the middle and Hart swings right through it. I have ZERO confidence in Hart now.
  5. For the weather I don't think they want to try Durhams hamstring with the current field conditions.
  6. 1. Brewers 2. Dodgers 3. Rays 4. Angels 5. Red Sox 6. White Sox 7. Phillies Not even going to mention that other Chicago team.
  7. "Warm Coffee" and "Assassin's Greed" in GTA IV.
  8. MVP Will win: Howard and Pedroia Should win: Sabathia and Pedroia Cy Young Will win: Webb and Rodriguez Should win: Lincecum and Lee
  9. Adding DeFelice would be redundant when you have Parra, Suppan, McClung, and Villanueva already in the bullpen. All of those guys can go for as many innings as DeFelice could go. Nelson is a left handed bat and is a better option if we need some runs than Counsell.
  10. Uecker, Powell, Castro, Gantner, Molitor, and Yount are all deserving to throw out the first pitch. My money is on either Yount or Uecker.
  11. Dan Uggla is worse than Weeks at 2B.
  12. Papa Roach - To Be Loved
  13. Maybe if the Royals don't think Gordon will be a 1B. Not to mention the Royals have more options for the OF than they do for the IF. Maybe another minor league guy would need to be added to the list. But I don't think it would take much to get DeJesus from the Royals.
  14. Possible 2009 team. Hart traded to the Rays for Crawford Nelson to the Royals for DeJesus. Hardy to the Dodgers for Kershaw. Weeks to the Tigers for Polanco and a low level prospect. Suppan to the Yankees for a minor prospect, Yankees take on all of Suppans contract. Starting Lineup 2009 1. CF DeJesus 2. 2B Polanco 3. LF Braun 4. 1B Fielder 5. RF Crawford 6. 3B Hall/Branyan/Lamb 7. SS Escobar 8. C Kendall/Rivera 9. P Bench Rivera, Kapler, FA, Rottino, Hall/Branyan/Lamb Starting Rotation 2009 1. Sabathia (Dreaming a lot) 2. Gallardo 3. Parra 4. Kershaw 5. Bush Bullpen Villanueva, McClung, Torres, Riske, Coffey, Shouse, Stetter.
  15. The comeback in 1998 against the Cubs in the 9th inning the Brewers scoring 8 runs in the 9th with Brown making a simple play look oh so hard.
  16. So much drama I think the Brewers have taken about 10 years off my expected life span. But I couldn't be any more happy. Finally a playoff game after all these years of sitting in the cold at County Stadium watching some very awful Brewers teams at Miller Park. I can't wait for Wednesday. Now GO DODGERS beat the Cubs!
  17. You know you can put the flat panel TV's on the wall. I would do that but not knowing what the room construction or what the room looks like I couldn't tell you if that would be a good idea or a bad idea. In my bedroom I have my flat panel on the wall it saves space and I just have a small little cabinet for my 360.
  18. Right now my theme song with the Brewers for tonight's game is.....
  19. Because it is liquid. People who normally have $300,000 in cash in a bank are ones who are retired or are about to be retiring. Still not a good strategy to have anything over $100,000 cash in a bank. There are better liquid investment options that are better and will give you a better interest rate than a bank could give you.
  20. I wouldn't get it fixed for that much money when you could put a down payment on a new TV for that price. Best Buy currently has a deal on if you buy a TV that is worth $999 or more you get 3 years no interest financing. I'm not sure what your price range is at but I would use that $400 and get a new TV than paying for the old TV to be repaired.
  21. I believe it was reported on Brewers Live that Branyan was only available to pinch hit.
  22. Only reason why I say Price instead of Shields is because Crawford would be a one year rental player while Hart and Hardy could be signed cheaply. I wouldn't mind taking Shields but if you are trading Hardy away for someone I would want someone young in return someone like a Price. Crawford and Hart are basically a wash talent wise and production wise. Hart does have better power numbers this year than what Crawford has though. OBP is about equal for career and this year. Hart and Crawford would be a player swap with the Rays getting more years with Hart than they would with Crawford.
  23. Another one Hart and Hardy for Price and Crawford.
  24. Thank you Aramis Ramirez! 2-run Home Run!
  25. What about Hardy or Escobar straight up for Kershaw or Billingsley. The Dodgers are going to need a SS after this year if they decide not to resign Furcal. I believe a Hardy straight up could net Kershaw I would rather have Kershaw over Billingsley but if the Dodgers say no to Kershaw I would take Billingsley though if it was him or nothing.
