  1. The issue with Peyton is he swings at everything. Really bad chase rates. I think that will ding him a lot and bring down his draft stock.
  2. What about Peyton Bonds yes the nephew of Barry Bonds. Probably is a 4th-5th round pick or later. Kind of intrigued by his power and speed. Definitely a raw development project and he maybe too old for that.
  3. With Ohtani hitting his 300th tonight will he make it to 500 HR’s in his career? I think 500 is within reach but what about 600?
  4. Herro is probably gone at some point this week depending on if Detroit still wants Herro.
  5. I still think in the first round it is going to be Zion Rose if he is there at 25. This maybe the Cubs pick at 23. He just checks so many boxes of what the Brewers look for. Very similar profile to Frelick but with more power and a higher ceiling.
  6. There are areas of Split that are not that great. It is basically a Soviet Bloc type of an area. Other parts it is really nice. May is also a good time to go. It isn’t hot yet and it isn’t cold either. The Euros haven’t started their vacations yet either during that time. I was disappointed with my last Caribbean vacation. Not enough to do in the islands for me. I’m not into snorkeling or diving and I thought maybe the pirate stuff would be cool but it was disappointing. Feels like that was more of a party destination and I’m just too old for that.
  7. If the Angels trade Detmers I would be very surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if the Angels would demand Made and a couple of other prospects for Detmers. I'm not even sure that would even work with the Angels owner. Would probably have to do something like Mis, Made, Pratt, and Chourio for him to move Detmers.
  8. The K rate is concerning but the number of HR's he is hitting is crazy. His K rate suggests he should be doing worse but when he is making contact he is making it count. In A+ about 54% of hits went for extra base hits and in his short time in AA all but one of his hits has been extra base hits. Adding it all up 38 of his hits so far in A and AA have been for extra base hits or just about 58% of all of hits have been for extra base hits. Is this sustainable with this high of a K rate? Probably not but the power is there and I'm not even sure we have seen the best of Fischer yet or the worst. The sample size is just too small right now to say what he is.
  9. I had a nice experience with Norwegian Cruise Lines last year when I did the Mediterranean tour. Had stops in Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Malta and Croatia. It was a 12-day cruise and 0-days out at sea. Italy, France and Croatia were the best. If you like the game of thrones series then go to Croatia as there are two locations there in Split and Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is very touristy but I loved the city. Split is an awesome little city in Croatia probably my third or fourth favorite city on that cruise. Lots to do in Split and a lot of little shops if you like to do some shopping that is. The tweens may like Croatia as the beaches there are really good. There is also a waterfall you can hike to. I think you can also do Italy just using the local train line. Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome and then Naples. You would either have to take a cab or bus to Pisa. But I think that is doable as it is a short ride to Pisa from Florence. Rome alone you can do about 15-20k steps in a day easily just by going to the Vatican. I would suggest at least 2 days in Rome so you can see everything. Pompeii is also an easy 20k+ steps in a day.
  10. Jaylen Brown to the 76ers for Paul George, 2 firsts and 2 seconds. https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/breaking-news/article/jaylen-brown-reportedly-traded-to-76ers-for-paul-george-in-blockbuster-deal-after-celtics-miss-out-on-giannis-antetokounmpo-221544659.html I still would have preferred the Celtics deal for Giannis as I think the Bucks could have gotten their picks back from Portland plus a pick or two from Boston.
  11. Where are you getting 44% K rate for Fischer? Fangraphs has him at 33.9% between AA and A+. The only way you can get close to 44% is if you are doing it by AB's and that is not how you calculate K%. You have to take the total of PA's not AB's. Fangraphs: Baseball Savant:
  12. 16-10 Sounds about right.
  13. T.J. Ford back with the Bucks!
  14. Sproat is like Freddy Peralta with a worse ERA, when he was with the Brewers.
  15. When you are hovering around a 35% K rate that is not good. That would be closer to a 40% K rate in the majors. Basically a Keston Hiura situation. I don't think Fischer is that bad but he needs to get that K rate down. Baseball Prospectus had him in their top 100 in the pre-2026 rankings.
  16. The only way I would trade for Chapman is if the Giants accepted Joey Ortiz and Black for Chapman and paying about 40-45% of Chapman's remaining salary from 2027-2030. Chapman is not worth all that much as he is very similar to Nolan Arenado who the Cardinals had to pay about $31 million to Arizona and only got Jack Martinez who is a 23 year old in A ball with a 4.00 ERA currently.
  17. There really isn't an impact player that is available in the trade market. The best is probably Byron Buxton and he probably isn't available. The next best option is Wilson Contreras. Offensively this trade market is well below average for impact bats. For the Brewers it is even worse as there is no 3B to replace Ortiz. In the OF you have Buxton but can he stay healthy and will he waive his no trade? Pitching wise there is enough out there but no one who is an impact pitcher, I don't believe Skubal will be traded as Detroit is close to a playoff spot. The next best options are Gray and Alcantara. Then relief pitchers it is Chapman and then?
  18. The Julius Randle trade is probably what the Bucks are looking at for a return for Turner. I don’t see a way for the Bucks to get rid of him without including a pick or taking on an equally bad contract. At best the Bucks will receive a second round pick for him.
  19. You have to remove the Packers bias. If the Packers didn’t have as much popularity would you say the same thing? Player wise Giannis is the winner and there isn’t really anyone that close. Giannis saved the franchise from leaving. Yes Kohl stipulated the Bucks had to stay or he wouldn’t sell. But he was only going to live for so long. A Giannis less team definitely would have been on the move list. Did Favre save the Packers from moving? Did Rodgers do that? Did Reggie White do that? The answer is no. All they did was bring a SB back and nothing more. The Packers were never in danger of moving or being irrelevant in Wisconsin sports. Really there are only two people in the last 30-years who made a team relevant in the state and that is Giannis and Alvarez. Everyone else is just a side note for the franchise they represent.
  20. Better question would be Giannis vs Favre. Giannis wins that one by a landslide times a billion. There really isn’t anyone with a championship that is as big as Giannis was to Milwaukee or WI sports in recent history. Maybe you can argue Lombardi or Alvarez as non players. If you are looking at players only then there is no one who even competes with Giannis and only Kareem really comes close.
  21. Doc Rivers was a Giannis pick or one to placate Giannis. I think Giannis wanted Kidd to come back and be the HC again. Giannis is a great player but OMG is he a petulant little child sometimes. You are the veteran on the team take some dang leadership and accountability. You don’t have to be told what to do all the time. Grow up and be a man. I think Turner was onto something here and that Giannis has no leadership skills at all and he is a petulant child and a child who has to be lead through everything.
  22. NHL looking to expand again and no Milwaukee is not an option. Current cities are Austin or Houston as an option.
