I'm not talking about him being wild with his breaking stuff, I'm talking about just the way the pitches moved. Hist fastball used to have that late movement...I just didn't know what they meant by his fastball has different movement and it's affecting his breaking stuff when I heard it. It was hard not to see the difference from watching it. This could go down as one of the saddest-non career-ending injuries I've seen. The guy was on the precipice of becoming a perennial all-star, an ace, the first we'd developed since Sheets and he gets hurt sliding back into first...and it's right when the one thing the Brewers are lacking in their window to compete is a big ace who can throw 200 IP a season and start the big games. Sure hoping he can continue to strengthen that shoulder and keep getting better. While I agree with much of what you said, Jimmy has come back far stronger than I anticipated. Shoulder injuries are often career ending and have robbed some of the greatest pitchers of the last 20 years of further excellence. Pedro Martinez, Ramon Martinez, Alex Fernandez, Mark Mulder, Mark Prior, and many others. I thought his stuff was very encouraging, although I have concerns about stamina and if his old mentality will thrive with his new arsenal
