  1. he doesn't strike out often; however to me he chases a lot of high fastballs, and as noted on here, he doesn't have good instincts on when to challenge balls and strikes.
  2. A lot of people on here might have wanted to, never me though. He's always been underrated in my eyes.
  3. yep. it's a shame because last year the ball bounced our way all season, getting that first round bye, and then just ran into the buzzsaw known as the dodgers.
  4. to be fair they will get hunter greene back at some point though which will be a huge boost to their rotation.
  5. kinda dumb you aren't able to challenge those. That was as egregious as it gets.
  6. definitely a bit surprised they didn't challenge that.
  7. I disagree, Levering thinks he's funny too. And he's just plain annoying.
  8. i'm late to the party, but anyone else think that one ball was gone off the bat possibly, in the 9th inning off megill with like one out?
  9. Turang in particular never seems to challenge pitches he should.
  10. even if he doesn't hit the ball hard, I always feel good with him at the plate against righties. Seems to make good swing decisions. At least to my eye test.
  11. I don't understand how Tyler Black seems to look better against big-league pitching than he does against AAA pitching.
  12. don't know if anyone noticed, but during the FOX broadcast the other day, ken rosenthal speculated the brewers could go after tarik skubal at the deadline.
  13. i'm actually surprised his chase rate is considered elite; he seems to chase a lot of high fastballs out of the zone.
  14. I mean, he hits lefties, and he plays a quality center field. That isn't nothing. Not a guy you just 'let go'.
  15. probably because of that foul ball he took off the finger last night
  16. yeah, the minimal upgrade from shaw to bregman isn't anywhere near worth the contract bregman got. They could have used those funds better elsewhere... like the pitching staff.
  17. how on earth would the Brewers have better odds than the dodgers or Cubs? Or the Braves, who have the best record in the NL?
  18. much like FitzMagic before him, tough break for Coleman Crow; definitely doesn't deserve the demotion!
  19. man, tough break for fitzmagic. he's looked really good in his limited innings.
  20. tough break for tyler black, I thought he's looked good in his brief stint. It's too bad we can't find a spot for him on the big league roster.
