  1. Yeah, Vinny mentioning Jack Stern / Brewer Fanatic in the top of the sixth.
  2. Nate Peterson still chucking for the Shuckers, now up to four scoreless frames with a lone single against eight strikeouts. 45 pitches, 35 strikes.
  3. That would be the lone blemish on Smith’s night with a 3.2 IP | 4 H | 0 BB | 1 K final line. Jesus Broca followed and retired four of five batters faced (1 BB | 3 K). Sam Garcia has pitched the last three frames clean with 1 H | 1 BB | 3 K.
  4. That’s right, forgot Nadal hasn’t played since leaving early on the 16th. Must be why they went with Blayberg then.
  5. Garrett Stallings put up a 1-2-3 seventh and Yoho followed up with a zero in the eighth (1 H) to keep NASH up 1-0. Yoho only needed 14 pitches to get thru the eighth, maybe comeback out in the ninth for the two inning save?
  6. So Schultz is #10 on the BA Top 100, and Coleman Crow out-pitched him big time tonight, so Crow is the #9 prospect now ?? That’s how it works, right ?!?!?
  7. Zavier Warren single and Garrett Spain walk have two on, one down for the Shuckers trying for more. & Luis Lara delivers the RBI single, 3-0 Biloxi.
  8. Myers worked a 1-2-3 fifth adding another strikeout to the ledger while Peguero put up a zero in the sixth. Meanwhile a trio of walks from Alfaro, Delgado, Clarke and a Jimmy Herron sac fly have NASH up on the board 1-0.
  9. Crow with another three up three down in the second while Lara leads off the Biloxi third with a single.
  10. Jheremy Vargas and Jadher Areinamo saved Chandler Welch a run in the third teaming up for the home plate assist to catcher David Garcia.
  11. Shuckers on the board with a Garrett Spain single, Luis Lara walk and Brock Wilken RBI single.
  12. Jheremy Vargas doubled, advanced to third on a lineout to LF, and scored on a wild pitch. Tayden Hall followed with a walk and stolen bag, then scored on a Blake Burke single. 2-0 TRats after two.
  13. Adamczewski played two more innings in the field, batted again (K), and now has been subbed out. Di Turi to 2B, Bitonti to 3B, Blayberg in at 1st. With Peña out for the last five days, and Payne an early exit/no start today, might leave Demetrio Nadal as the lone available bench player.
  14. Had to work a little harder, but Myers notched another zero in the fourth - F9, F9, 1B, P6.
  15. & Tobias only needs seven pitches to get through the third picking up another K. 40 pitches (24 strikes) through three.
  16. Tobias Myers comes back with three strikeouts to put up a zero in the first after surrendering a lead off single, walk and two stolen bags.
  17. Mudcats load em up bottom of two via an E6, Yannic Walther walk, and Adamczewski HBP. Two down for Dinges, though GameDay is in an injury delay after the Josh plunking. & Marco works the count 3-1 before lining out to the first baseman.
  18. Oliver wins the first Dunn battle of the evening working a walk off of Justin.
  19. Carolina picks up a run on no hits bottom of the first courtesy of an E7. Made walked and was caught stealing, Adamczewski walked and Dinges was plunked in the frame. Travis Smith gave back the run top of two though allowing a double and single.
  20. It’s anecdotal information about how he is progressing and how his shoulder is bouncing back between outings. If his velocity and command continue to get worse with each successive appearance that wouldn’t be a very good sign.
  21. Nice comeback by the DBacks, but Burnes only gave up two runs through six innings. He was relieved by Ryne Nelson in the 7th who surrendered the other five runs scored by the Cubs.
