  1. And his OPS this year is now higher than Brian Dozier (.725 vs .705 prior to today's game). I don't get the arguments for Dozier. I've seen plenty of his career over here and he is a strikeout prone bat that gets hot for a couple months a season. You have to pray its for August and September and not April and May though because it carries you. The Twins likely have an outrageous valuation on him because he's their face, so i'd stay far far away.
  2. I am much more concerned about Orlando Arcia than Villar, or even catcher. He really is not progressing at all at the plate, and maybe even getting worse. Not saying throw him to the wolves, but i'm at a solid 7 on the concern scale right now.
  3. The media blew things up way out of proportion with Dez just like anything else they do with Dallas (or New England....Brady/Belichick hate one another...LMAO). I would venture a guess that he isn't half the problem that he is portrayed to be. I'm of firm belief that much of Dez's numbers not injury related the past few years are tied directly to Prescott and the commitment to the run game. Chances like these don't come around too often, when they do you need to pounce and then do everything possible to make sure it works IMO.
  4. You folks realize Villar is batting 300 right?
  5. Let me just say I love Bartolo Colon wherever he's pitching and that he'll never get too old to play. Let's get it done lol
  6. I'm good with it if Giannis n Mids were good with it. He's got the same bloodline as Messina except actually displayed being a competent coach already, Messina totally unproven at the NBA level.
  7. Please explain how Woodruff has looked like a 4A pitcher. Outside of Colorado he has a sub 4 ERA, FIP, and xFIP with a 10:2 K:BB in 9.1 innings. His SIERA is still under 4. His fastball has been over 95 mph in every appearance. His slider looks sharp a number of times. Of coarse its a small sample on a pitcher and a league still adjusting to one another but its hard for me to believe he isnt one of our 5 best rotation options at this point and it isnt in our best interest to give him more chances. Good pitchers have gotten hit in Colorado before.. If Woodruff is one of our 5 best rotation options we have serious problems. He looks like a worse Wily Peralta reincarnated....and that's not a good thing.
  8. Bucks should have Casey on the phone and not let him off until he is the coach. What a mistake the Raptors made.
  9. It shouldn't even be close who's the most "qualified." It's Blatt or Budenholzer...the former of which IMO is the most "qualified." The caveat emptor though is whether he learned from his time in Cleveland that he needs to actually have a relationship with his players. If not he'll just be Jason Kidd part 2 but a better basketball mind. Same problem with Fizdale and Gasol. Budenholzer fought with Schroder iirc as well. I prefer they go the way of someone that can mostly manage egos and have good relationships (while commanding respect) rather than an X's and O's guy. NBA players don't need X's and O's IMO. ....did you not just watch Boston destroy Milwaukee in a series where the Bucks had by far the two best players? That was all X's and O's. Are you confusing Milwaukee for Philly? I didn't see any cream colored jerseys get "destroyed"....i saw a hard fought 7 game series in which were it not for shooting woes we'd have been playing Philly (and beating them) instead right now. I don't disagree with you that you need a guy that has well contrived "X's and O's," but these grown men have been playing basketball since what, 10 years old at an extremely advanced level. It doesn't take an elite X's and O's guy to install some sort of a flex, motion etc offense that gets the guys (in theory) moving around more. 90% of the problem was Giannis and Middleton ISO every time down the court.

  11. I guess you don't watch too many Brian Dozier AB's because i've seen plenty over here. He is precisely what Stearns and the rest of us are trying to stay away from (and what everybody whines about Santana for). Big power, lots of K, prolonged slumps at the plate.
  12. It can't possibly be any worse than trotting Suter out there every 5th day.
  13. I really don't see a problem with all the WR. Folks act like we have this surplus of wealth there....have we watched the past 2-3 years of football? One guy gets hurt and it's a total disaster out there. It's been showing in ARodge's effectiveness too, as small as it may be. He shouldn't have to be a magician out there 24/7, it's too taxing. I was actually hoping we'd have put a bigger priority on WR with a 1st-2nd rounder, but hard to do that when JJ falls into your lap in the 2nd. Overall I don't mind the draft one bit, only hmm would be the punter, but if he's really that good he will be a great weapon for the special teams here for the next decade.
  14. I suppose Darvish and Quintana are responsible for 0,2,0,0 runs of offense the past 4 days? Our pitching was PLENTY good during this series. I'm sick and tired of this offense either being 1927 Yankees or a A+ squad that can't hit out of a wet paper bag.
  15. Who is Bledsoe?
  16. Bledsoe is a total joke. Hope somebody is dumb enough to give us a bag of stale popcorn in trade...Rozier is absolutely destroying him.
  17. And Gutekunst says, "Hold my Beer!" - And with the 35th pick of the 5th round of the 2018 NFL draft, the Packers pick, JK Scott, Punter from Alabama. He actually looks really good. But we just had a very good season from Justin Vogel (11th in net punting). Probably the position that we LEAST needed. That was really unexpected... We took him because he can punt, kick, and hold. After the adventures (to put it lightly) we had last year this makes perfect sense to me, especially if he turns out really good. BJ Sander still lingers in my mind though lol
  18. There's this guy named Kamara, not sure if folks have heard of him. I heard he's a pretty good RB.
  19. Come on Bucks !!!
  20. Broken hand is a little different than chronic soft tissue injuries. But haha Knee, broken hand, dings, small. I'm not a Jaire Alexander guru but small guys like him get beat up. Joe Haden says hi.
  21. Also fits the mold of Green Bay culture checking off the injury history box requirement.
  22. At least the Bucks are trying to get us a game 7.
  23. I'm sorry but if there isn't a corresponding move this is a total joke (or they have a crystal ball and know Edmunds/James is falling). WE HAVE NO CORNERBACKS OR SAFETIES AND BARELY LINEBACKERS, I REPEAT we have no CB, S, LB.
