  1. Being that we're 3 innings since he was pulled, seems there may be a trade to me. Knowing our luck though he pulled a back muscle or something.
  2. That's just grand. Pull Parra before he gets hurt as well please?
  3. Marcos Molina or Gabriel Ynoa?
  4. Any conversation should start and end with Honeywell, otherwise hang up the phone. 3 more years of Lucroy is worth 1 top 5 and a couple of their other good prospects to me.
  5. Sounds like a great time to mortgage the farm for David Price to me.
  6. Been alot of Orlando Arcia buzz lately...I am going to LMAO if he gets packaged into a deal we make for something. This board will implode.
  7. It's' too bad that the Nats don't have a ton of depth in the INF, if they actually did I'd try to ship them Gomez/Segura for Rendon.
  8. Gausman spends more time traveling between the minors, the bullpen, and starting than a flock of geese migrating south for the winter. How can anyone expect him to figure things out? The O's are a disaster zone when it comes to pitching development.
  9. Lohse has probably singlehandedly cost us our season (with some help from Garza). He needs to be released, it's time to let the kids play.
  10. You call a token 100 million deal for Prince and CC and Greinke "offering" ? We never had a chance with either of them. I'm sure you have others in mind and you could very well be right, but I don't consider those "offers." Giving Gomez an extension was brilliant.
  11. It's a possiblity. Lost in the shuffle of everyone drooling over fantasy baseball trades the Brewers are 11-4 on the month counting tonight's result and were 14-14 in June. They're hot, and seems like they're getting hotter. Hopefully brewerfan.net doesn't collapse from the influx of angry posts if we don't see a trade of significance by July 31.
  12. Favre haters....put the sour grapes away for crying out loud. #1 The man loved playing football so much he COULDN'T quit until his body forced him to. Stop blaming him, we needed to give Rodgers a shot. #2 If Favre doesn't leave when he did we may not even have Rodgers. And #3 I don't know about anyone else but I had more fun with the Packers/Vikings rivalry during those two years when I was at school in Minnesota than I have ever had with a rivalry (Bears or Vikings or Seahawks). That was absolutely great. Favre is the man.
  13. Advantage you in this scenario if you're a courteous, well-kept charming person. Sending to an email just lumps you in with tens (hundreds?) of other faceless resumes. Deliver it with confidence, i've even had a couple friends ask if they could speak to the manager & walked out with a job. Not something I can do, but some are good at it.
  14. If Gomez and Lucroy are traded, and all of our 40 million or whatever it is of expiring contracts becomes available, we have a butt load of money to fill black holes. If KRod was dealt there'd be even more money. It's taboo around here and blasphemy to even suggest "Re-Tool" rather than Re-Build, but that's most likely what is going to happen, and what I think SHOULD happen.
  15. You all just wait...15 game winning streak out of the AS Break and we're dealing Arcia for Johnny Cueto and winning the World Series.
  16. They can't get "the biggest haul of prospeccts you have ever seen" because there is nobody out there that is willing to do a deal like that. It's likely why Lucroy (and Gomez) will not be dealt...it is simply just not realistic for two sides to agree on such a tag.
  17. What is wrong with wanting to see wins? If they really did win out in July that means a rebuild might be expedited and we may not need a tear down (IE - Cravy, Jungmann, etc are going to be legit MLB pitchers), and that the debbie downers who are all over this forum may have underestimated our farm system after all. Maybe Gomez, Lucroy, Segura, Parra would be able to stay here. Is it really that bad a thing to watch Carlos Gomez? Don't misunderstand me, I do think we do need to make a few trades (Gomez, Parra or Khris, maybe Lucroy), but there's more than one avenue to running a team. One of the avenues is keeping our assets. All the negativity on this website sucks. They aren't getting a top 5 pick unless they completely tank it...and I don't see it happening so why get worked up over it? These young guys coming up are all playing too well to beat out the Phillies, etc.
  18. What could have been if we still had Cain, Escobar and Odorizzi. Yes, I know it got Greinke, but two all stars were traded. Are they really all stars, or is Cain and Escobar just allstars because they made the world series last year? I think it's the latter.
  19. Everyone is trade-able if the price is high enough. We could probably get Sano for Gomez & Lucroy I revise my previous statement to NO chance in hell from absolutely no trading Sano. He is going to be a perennial allstar and maybe soon.
  20. I think it would be smart to promote Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch at the same time. They could form a faction like The Shield or Nexus. It would breathe some life into the womans division. They have nothing else to proove at NXT and would give an opportunity for other female wrestlers like Alexa Bliss or Dana Brooke to see what they can do. There they are !
  21. If only we had Manny Machado or Donaldson at 3B.....
  22. The Giants or the Royals make the most sense to me...especially SF being they are familiar with Parra from his days in the division. I really don't see Gomez or Lucroy going anywhere, but hope to be surprised. It's too bad Seattle is underachieving...I think we might have been able to swing a trade there for Taijuan Walker or Paxton.
  23. Agreed, i really wanted him drafted at 31 last season. They just don't have a roster spot for him right now. If Johnny O'Bryant and Jorge Gutierrez are still on our roster that's a good place to start...
  24. MOAR Gerardo Parra dongs...he might net us a pretty nice prospect here soon.
