Well, I think we all knew it was going to tighten eventually, can’t win every game forever in baseball. But yeah, not a great series to rediscover what a losing streak feels like.
Jaire missing practice after some knee “treatment”, also had his knee drained in July. Supposedly should be back by week 1 but someone should probably tell Harbough that Jaire doesn’t play at less than 100%. Packers may have dodged a bullet here.
Well, had we known only one today could have risked McGill yesterday and got the win. Doubleheaders can really make it tough to work the bullpen through.
Someone already said Q, Myers, and Anderson tomorrow. Mears and Miller can probably go if needed, it’s a game they will probably surrender before running anyone else out before Cubs series.
After last night they basically think they should call up AAA guys, surrender the series and move on to the wildcard race. We have owned them for a few years I guess,I wasn’t aware of that feels like edlr has been brewer killer.
It's at the point where if we don't win it will be a collapse and we won't be too enthused about the postseason anyway. So not worth worrying about, I agree, we got this.
1. Turang - Leads team in bwar I think and still getting better
2. Yelich - 23 HR's filled the gap left by Adames. 800 OPS.
3. Priester - Stabilized rotation and 13 or whatever straight
4. Freddy - His best season, I still think starter wins are cool
5. Contreras - Even in a down year
6. Frelick - Pretty close to Turang really
Such a deep team with another half dozen left out here.
I have never been there, grew up and live west side of state. The menu looks like Denny's. Burgers look good but not sure I would go out of my way to wait in line for a free one.
