1. Turang - Leads team in bwar I think and still getting better 2. Yelich - 23 HR's filled the gap left by Adames. 800 OPS. 3. Priester - Stabilized rotation and 13 or whatever straight 4. Freddy - His best season, I still think starter wins are cool 5. Contreras - Even in a down year 6. Frelick - Pretty close to Turang really Such a deep team with another half dozen left out here. -
I think Big Woo gets it done today, it would be weird to get to 11 and fall short twice like this. Players know about it I am sure.

I have never been there, grew up and live west side of state. The menu looks like Denny's. Burgers look good but not sure I would go out of my way to wait in line for a free one.

The article did say it was top 50 THIS season. I originally read it like the off-season NFL lists where it is more about player value. So now I am reminded of a previous post pointing out that Collins’ WAR is the same as Suarez with less playing time. 🙂

I am sure maybe ESPN thought about sticking Peralta or Turang in at the end of the list to fit the best team in somewhere. But it's more interesting that they don't have a top 50 player. We have some young guys who will rise fast in the next couple of years.

For sure, Woodruff was above Freddy in the pecking order when he got hurt and has done nothing but prove he belongs back in the #1 starter role. I just trust him more and I am guessing most would agree.

Mears and Koenig should be available and Miller can close if needed.

Ideally, you want the DH to be a platoon position but like you said in above post with a healthy OF we don't want to sit those guys either so Yeli becomes the full time DH. I don't think you ever want to sit your best hitters much, they need AB's, and Yelich does have a career .758 OPS against LH. He has been not so great this year but last season hit them well. Besides, things are going great! 🙂

Just speaking for myself I could care less if Hoskins is understanding or not. He has put up 0.8 bwar while we are paying him like 32 million the last 2 seasons. And after a good start he was slumping again before going on IL if I am remembering right. Yelich was just as hot as Vaughn is now for a month or so just a few weeks back. Hoskins isn't taking any playing time away from Yelich,

I keep thinking this team with its low slugging % is like a typical Badgers buckets team, eventually they will go cold and slump for a couple weeks. But is just doesn’t happen, we are 8-2 in last ten and none of them involve the 11 game streak anymore. Fun times, I am about as disinterested in Packer camp as I can remember. Night game on FS 1 tomorrow, I don’t see many TV games so glad to see that.

Traded Cortes for Miller in a round about way? I am down with that, really was thinking they should trade Quintana or Cortes for ML help if they could find it and bullpen makes sense.

Yes, but even assuming we were involved it could just be they liked the choices the Mariners offered better. Still, no top 100 prospect, we could have outbid them if we wanted.

Yeah, I know, and I think he just did before a day off last week. But he doesn't always and is our biggest power threat this year. I would just rather see him in the lineup than Jansen I guess, maybe just need time for the new guy to grow on me a bit,

With the day off tomorrow it's not too likely Yelich will sit. I don't see Jansen pushing $26 million Yelich into a DH platoon quite yet.

Starting to feel like this really isn't going to happen. I would trade Hendersen if it wouldn't take any more but he has been such a fast riser in the org that the team may not be willing to give him up. Maybe if Chourio is out for a while but that doesn't sound like it is the case. But it's possible Zona just won't get as much as they hope and we can still offer a better package with lesser prospects, rentals don't get the return they used to.
