    Great win to usher in the Love era! And Vikes lost! My only quibbles would be all the undisciplined penalties but things were pretty chippy on both sides. Also the deep throw accuracy continues to be not so great for Love but as long as he gets the job done in the end.🙂

    I am not seeing that. Not one even decent run yet and our QB ran out of bounce for a six yard loss while in fg range when he could have thrown it away. Kicker looks good though…

    I have no idea why people think we will come out on top of the West or are #19. Just one of those things where there is assumption Wisconsin always decent I guess, Transition year but oof they look awful.

    The Packers wouldn’t trade Watson for Taylor straight up. You’re probably right, Colts weren’t really trying to trade him.

    It really is tempting, especially if you intend to bring everyone back next season. It would be the all in thing we have all pined for in the Burnes/Woodruff years. Plus, if you win the WS this year you can pull a Marlins and have a garage sale in the offseason and rebuild. No to Chourio but anything else I could probably learn to live with if we are talking just 2 top prospects and change.

    I was just going post something similar but as usual wouldn't have nearly as much good information as your post. He has been solid and just got a nice return as a rental.

    I don't see any talk anywhere here of Rodgers taking a pay cut with the Jets. My first thought was he wants them to trade for Bakh but reports this morning are maybe he was making room for Delvin Cook. It's probably more about his ego though, just wants to be like Brady and make it look like he has never been greedy. Cleans up his image a bit and maybe makes him more marketable. He also got a no tag clause so after 25 he can sign anywhere. Back on topic camp is here!

    Yeah, unless you just don't get big enough offers for Woody and Adames due to injury/play in which case you see how 2024 goes and maybe trade them at deadline if things aren't going well. But Burnes you trade, he is such a talent and has been durable, I think the risk of passing up the haul he will demand is too high for the Brewers. A lot probably depends on how big they swing this deadline, we may need to restock the prospects but I doubt it.

    Burnes showing his surprise allstar selection was warranted, 11 games over .500 for first time this year. I have had hard time getting excited about this team this year but I am coming around. :)

    He cracked ,270 and .800 OPS today. He had an almost 4 week homer drought since this thread started but definitely not having the extended slumps that drove us nuts the last couple of years. For me he is like a Braun after his fall from grace, it has made me a bigger fan, I really really want him to make all the naysayers wrong about the contract. One thing he has that Braun didn’t is the ability to stay on the field. Fingers crossed..

    Some good points in there, especially about the loss of social connections. I was laid off once and it was after I was at the company for 10 years, I got 16 weeks severance and it was June so I went home feeling like "paid vacation!", went out with friends and got drunk. Man, waking up the next morning was maybe the worst I have ever felt, it's a real kick in the groin to be pulled out of something that became such a part of your life. You always try but eventually lose touch with most of the friends you have at your job. Now that I am older and more secure in my career, I have embraced the quit and then look for a job mentality when I have had enough, I don't think gaps in employment has the stigma it used to. If they can drop me anytime why shouldn't I get to take this job and shove it? Good luck and sorry you lost your job.

    Not this gold package holder. If that is true that is the second straight year they stuck us with the Thursday night game. Sunday night is ok but almost everyone I know who goes to games prefers Sunday afternoon games. I think this will be my last year as ticket holder, probably cheaper to just go to the games I want on stub hub anyway.

    I thought Wrigth was the 4th or 5th best OT, that's what I meant by surprise. But my opinion is based on like 3 days of paying attention, I am usually surprised earlier than this.🙂

    I am not sure what the Bears will do now, Skoronski? Seems like JSN will fall to us as I think Lions may grab Gonzalez.

    Lots of trades but only Richardson has really been higher that I would have though. Titans will take Levis if no one trades up, Atlanta takes Bijon and Bears Carter?

    Seems like Witherspoon may have been the guy Detroit wanted but they may take the other top CB now. Maybe Carter makes it to Bears now?

    If all of the almost unbelievable parallels between the careers of Rodgers and Favre continue the packers, having the extra second round pick, will take a QB in the second to cover themselves in case Love flops. Of course, it will be the new QB, maybe that guy from Tennessee. who busts like Brohm did. :)

    As usual I don't really pay attention until draft week but I think OL is thin but good at the top of the draft. I feel like if we draft at #13 we may get the best value there as other needs like TE and Edge can maybe be addressed in the second round or later. Skoronski sounds a lot like Bulaga. I do think if we trade back I wouldn't mind trading into next year draft. I know we already have but we have enough picks this year and next year we will have a year of Love at QB to know where we are and the extra premium picks may payoff better. Maybe Seattle wants Richardson and he falls to #13? Can't wait for tonight, glad we have something to get us over the Bucks so quickly.
