  1. The bright side of the Bears win is it really put Detroit in a tough spot with 5 to go. They have a hot Dallas team coming in and then have to travel to the Rams. How many had them missing the playoffs at the beginning of the year or 6 weeks in for that matter?
  2. Rewatched the second half this morning and while at the time I was too apoplectic about not running to realize it but Watson should have had that last 3rd down grab. It was an easier chance than Wicks on 4th, sure it was contested but he has shown such great hands this year you have to squeeze that for the win.
  3. I hope the Eagles take the starch out of the Bears and their fans today. If Bears lose today I think 3-2 the rest of the way for Packers will win division. It would be a disappointment if we didn't do that.
  4. Yes, I don't mind putting it in the D's hands with 1:20 left and a 7 point lead and Detroit starting inside the 20 with no timeouts. Look at stats everything was crazy even except this one: We were sort of lucky on both 4th down TD's, any sort of bobble on either and it's Detroit's ball. I didn't hate going for it either situation, Campbell's decisions were more questionable, especially not taking the FG down 10 in the 4th.
  5. Yes after thinking about it, going for it was right call. Either way the defense has to stop them on 4th down or get a turnover when there is almost 2 minutes left. More chances of that if they start at 20 or inside but still you play to win with a 7 point lead. Should have run on 3rd and punted if failed though.
  6. What a game for Wicks. Can't believe they went for it but considering 2 minutes on the clock how confident were you to stop the Lions?
  7. Hate to say it but tough position, have to run here and hope you get it, Can't have incompletion.
  8. It doesn't look good. Dammit! Any hope for the offense to run the clock out? Feels like D will be right back out there..
  9. Second time Watson had a blatant PI on him today not called. You just knew we would go 3 and out...
  10. Defense just can't get off the field even when they get long situations, it's been a recurring theme all year. Like someone said above if pash rush doesn't get home we are screwed.
  11. Here we go, 4th time the D goes out with a 10 point lead.
  12. And the D gives up a way too easy like 4 play drive.
  13. Their meathead coach gambles and loses again and we make him pay. Love it!!!
  14. Had the wrong guy on that one to make a play. Valentine's tackling leaves a lot to be desired and as we saw there that can be a pretty big negative for a CB.
  15. If we got it at the 35 every time like Detroit it would have been worth a shot but that felt like trouble, glad they took the knee after the failed pass on 1st.
  16. Let them off the hook multiple time in long yardage situations that drive. It's going to be a fight. Stop kicking the ball in the end zone, you can't give this team good field position all game.
  17. I hope you are right, I am cautiously optimistic but road games on Thursday are tough. Have to get Goff off his spot and he isn't as good, we seem to be bad matchup for them in that regard. We did drill these guys week one. Like James Jones just said on radio it's go time!
  18. Musgrave got a good run blocking grade on PFF as hard as that is to believe. I do remember one key good block where I had to look twice to make sure it was actually him.
  19. I saw some where since your post about Willis' trade value last week that some scouts were asked and said Willis was viewed more as high quality backup than starting material. I am sure he thinks different but highly paid backup isn't a bad gig in the NFL, he might be wise to stick around if the Packers offer him a nice deal.
  20. Yes, I saw that before my post, Viking fans calling it another soft benching. I don't doubt he has symptoms, Wyatt flung him down pretty hard on last sack, but I don't expect him to play Sunday even if cleared. He is just too awful right now, 1st round pick or not at some point you have to stop putting a bad QB on the field. Let him regroup for next season maybe he makes some strides.
  21. Ah yes, I think he has already been linked to them. That makes sense, another busted high pick that seems to be the new franchise QB angle with Mayfield\Jones\Darnold all turning into something.
