  1. Just like on those shirt jerseys I think the current uniform could of a power blue alternate if they wanted, it would look good if done right. I'm not a fan of the City Connects, but we aren't the target market for those. It's kids and the "casual fans" who all think they look great. Look around next time you're at a game and how many people have on the MKE hats and the Brew Crew jerseys. It's probably close to the #1 seller I bet in sales. Me and probably most of us on here are a little more hardcore, and baseball purists and prefer the traditional uniforms. I'm boring and love a team's road grays the best with the city name on them. That's always been my favorite. It makes me sad seeing a few teams phase out their road grays because of the Nike 4 jerseys only rule they have now. Agreed on the late 90s version of the uniforms, that was the best version of that set and doesn't get as much love as it should since they only had them for a couple seasons...and the team wasn't that great then either. Gold M on the road caps and white M on the home caps was a good look. I think they removed the green by then on the uniforms as well or it was much reduced compared to 1994-1997. I still have a couple of those jerseys and proudly wear them to games and get a lot of compliments from random fans. I always think it's the sign of a true fan seeing a 1998 Brewers jersey.
  2. Wow those 2013 1B...the horrors. We need to find that clip of Weeks and Yuni B turning that crazy DP. His smile after even he was shocked lol.
  3. That's not bad. We're plenty deep in all these areas right now. Devin coming back would be nice. Man imagine if we had a healthy Woody right now? :)
  4. Couldn't ask for a much better start so far record wise. And we all know there's room to improve as well. Let's see if they can keep this up!
  5. Khris Davis? aka Krush Davis?
  6. Try buying tickets for any other MLB stadium, or any other Major League sports game. The Brewers are one of the top values nation wide so I always get a little salty when I see people complain about high prices. You can find the deals and discounts if you dig. There's like 100 of them. I mean it's 2024 and you can still bring in FOIL WRAPPED food into the game! Unopened bottles! I couldn't believe my eyes when a family did this on opening day in a giant clear bag. Amfam is still insane value.
  7. It is 100% the whole throw as hard as you can and spin the ball as much as you can every pitch, and it trickly down to basically the middle school level now. All these traveling teams, camps, indoor baseball facilities where you are throwing year round and who knows how many pitches. Lots of stress on young not fully developed bodies. It's still crazy to me that EVERYONE throws hard now. Remember Sheets when he came up and he had a mid 90's fastball as a starter? That was unreal to me compared to previous Brewers pitchers and now it's common. I used to laugh playing MVP Baseball 05 in college when you'd play franchise mode for a few years with the computer created players being your draft picks and you'd draft a guy who could throw a 99 mph sinker or cutter, or 2 seamer. That would never happen in real life! And now it does and it's crazy.
  8. Did they say why technically it didn't work? Were their servers just overloaded with too many people? I wonder how much testing they did on this ahead of time? It probably worked great when they had 10 people test it out in the parking lot the day before...but not 10,000. Agree with the poster above, should of been rolled out on a weeknight game not Opening Day with much less of a crowd.
  9. I was surprised to see the Mets payroll that high, and then seeing Tyrone Taylor and Omar in their lineup and not many "names" during the series. Like what is all that money spent on? I love it. I really enjoyed how much we ran during the series. We have such a young, fast team. Use it to generate some runs like AZ did last year.
  10. Quintana...teams are still doing that against us? Is there anyone even left from the team when we always struggled against him? Yelich? Maybe all these new guys rough him up for a change.
  11. My gut says around .500. Could be higher or couple be lower depending on how the young talent develops and injuries, trades. Should be exciting! Kinda feels like 2016-2017 to me.
  12. Well if we're going to absorb an injury, the outfield is the place right? Everyone talking about our depth there all off season, and wanting to trade it away. This is why you don't sometimes. Injuries will happen. Let's hope someone takes advantage of the situation and steps up.
  13. Wow great two back combo. Now maybe draft a quick change of pace RB as well in there to spell the two RB 1s we have now. Awesome. Love seemed best when he was off play action. We need a strong run game agreed.
  14. Agreed love watching that guy play. Hope he can stay healthy and he can win elsewhere. Big what if in 2020 if he doesn't get hurt. I think we beat TB.
  15. That Yelich comment from a couple weeks back about "We're the Brewers..." and how the preseason predictions always seem to snub us is so true. Even during this run of the playoffs since 2018...were we ever actually favored to win the Division or make the playoffs in any of those awesome seasons? What about back in 2011?
  16. Clublevel. Clocktower elevator seems like your best bet.
  17. Golf Simulators are all of a sudden everywhere. Is there really a demand for this stuff? Oshkosh all of a sudden has 3-4 of these bars and places to do this kind of stuff. Maybe this grinds my gears because I'm not a golfer. Or is the technology just that much better now and cheaper to operate? I bet they do leagues and stuff on these things, maybe it is pretty cool.
  18. This season with Burnes gone / Woody out and the new rotation reminds me of the Moneyball scene where Bean is trying to "recreate Giambi in the aggregate". That's the 2024 Brewers rotation. How can we recreate Burnes and Woodruff's production in the aggregate? I bet it will be a ton of starters, guys getting shuffled down and called up. Phantom IL trips the Brewers are famous for. All that fun stuff. Buckle up!
  19. We did this with Woody, but passed on Jimmy and Kneble who both had similar injuries right? So maybe us paying Woody is a sign they think he looks good so far. Yep trust the Crew right now!
  20. Love the best shape of his life type posts. Keep em coming.
  21. Injuries happen. We had similar discussions last year, and look how thing shook out with injuries. It's good to have depth.
  22. If you haven't been to Kaufman Field yet go now, it's old and small but awesome. Worth the 10 hour drive. Friendly fans, awesome bbq tailgating, WW1 museum. Lots of cool stuff!
  23. I agree with Hader, in the current system he did what he had to do to lock in that life and family altering pay day. Good for him. Look at Jimmy Nelson, Woody with those shoulder injuries. That could happen to any pitcher at any time, why risk extra wear and tear on the arm when you are so close to that big payday. But now that he has that big deal with the Astros I hope he's a little more on board with pitching wherever helps the team best...we'll see.
  24. I like it. Good depth signing. Like others have said I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of guys starting this year for us, see what works and what doesn't. Limit their innings. It worked pretty good for us last year when Woody was out.
