It's good to have this starting depth though. Any of these guys can go down at any time with injuries, it's good to have depth here, or the ability to goto a 6 man rotation at times and keep guys healthy.
Uniform context clues. Majetic brand, pre Nike. When did they start wearing the retro uniforms again around 2005 or 2006 maybe even 07-08? So could be anyone on the team from 2006ish-2019?
It's baseball, can't get hung up on crushing losses. Just win the next one. Even the World Series champ teams lose in walk off fashion, lose series, have losing streaks, just part of baseball.
I would rather shut him down now, and have him for the end of Summer and the Playoff run, same with Woody if they aren't 100%. Just like how we got Devin back in July, felt like a huge trade deadline acquisition.
Excited to see us scoring runs with still many of the big gun vets starting cold, and limited starting pitching. Brice and Sal have been fun to watch so far this year. Mitchell as well and Jackson.
Wow. That seems perfect for a catcher. I'd just let it ride with the current contract, and then trade him with a year or two left and get a nice return and start over. Just how small market teams have to operate these days.
I don't really understand wrestling or how it's scored, but props to the announcers in this video for making it dramatic. That was pretty cool to hear and watch.
Ugh yeah the Lee trade kinda stunk. CoCo was a pretty good closer for us. But man Melvin was a little too high on his former players on the Rangers I think in that one.
However wasn't Cruz more of an AL DH kinda guy? But he could mash. Could of used him for sure but I guess we had Prince coming soon.
Ginter always had massive forearms, this picture backs that up. The R doesn't hurt either.
I want to say he hit 20 HRs for us one year before we traded him to the A's?
No stripes on the pants...I think they only did that the year or two before we got the new uniforms? 2019 season? Or was that the same year they got rid of the gold and replaced it with the current yellow before the logo redesign. Just trying to think of some other context clues.
I thought I saw something on Twitter from one of the Brewers writers that the whole MA quote was taken out of context and wasn't fully what he said. What he really said wasn't that bad, and it was wrote a certain way to create drama just like most things on the internet.
Overall Brewers baseball is still probably one of the best values for tickets in all of US pro sports. If you go mid week you can find deals and promotions. Compared to Bucks and Packers it's so cheap.
If this was a Brewers related deal I think I'd take it, or bargain for a little more. Food an beverage at each game, parking, maybe a car to drive me to the stadium. I think I'd get value out of that over a card.
