  1. The Gas Brothers. Sounds nice.
  2. If we do make a move, it's going to be for someone no one predicted. Some younger person who has a lot of team control left who can help us at least through next year is my guess.
  3. Thanks for bringing my thoughts back down to earth with 2025 stats. Yep I'm clearly living in 2024 still haha.
  4. Whenever Haase was in, it seemed like he mashed and had a good bat. Maybe something wasn't clicking right with our pitching staff and him or his defense they wanted to upgrade? At this point we just trusted the front office and it will be cool seeing a local guy play for the Brewers and do pretty good and give us a little more pop we need.
  5. The Brewers early 70's block M caps were pretty much the same M as the Milwaukee Braves caps, but in blue and yellow. Agreed the ones this weekend looked slightly thicker, especially on the batting helmets. But still nowhere close to the Michigan block M which is much much thicker, and a darker shade of blue and lighter shade of yellow. I love these Brewers caps! So simple.
  6. You know someone will do it. Try to paint a regular one and sell it for higher. Wow very cool, I would of wanted that for sure for the collection. Nice work.
  7. Lol yep. That post and comments are coming. Every trade last 2 years as been pretty criticized and it's ended up working out for the Brewers. It's almost like they know what they are doing after winning Front Office of the year last year and most likely again this year.
  8. I think what this team has this season is they have the pitching and scrappyness/clutch to be that team that we always talk about that gets hot at the right time and can win it all. Doing it for Uke has a nice ring to it too. They're on a mission from God.
  9. This is why I was asking if attendance was up? I don't remember this happening last year. Miz has a buzz around him that reaches even non hardcore baseball fans.
  10. Anyone think we'd be the flame throwing Brewers 20 years ago watching Curtis Leskanek and Derrick Turnbow "throwing gas" at 95-96mph out of the pen closing games out? That is impressive man.
  11. If he comes back strong and pitches well down the stretch and intro the playoffs, we have a veteran whose arm is relatively fresh having barely pitched so far this year. With a lot of our young pitching never pitching too many innings in a year so far, could be valuable hanging onto him when those guys innings will be getting up there end of September. He could be this years Gio Gonzales.
  12. Man that is impressive for a Monday night game. Attendance has to be up this year so far right? It feels that way anyways.
  13. Just setting us up for a World Series run where we are the last seed to get in and have to play most of our games on the road instead of home. Clearly getting HFA hasn't helped us since 2018 win in the playoffs...
  14. Jake Taylor said it best. Win the whole *** thing. Maybe this will be our year where we aren't the best team, but just the "get hot at the right time" team and we roll with it for Uke.
  15. Is this our deepest starting pitching rotation ever in franchise history? Man how many different starters have we had so far this year? And for the most part except for the one dude who got lit up opening day at home all have been pretty darn good so far. Gone are the 5-6 man rotations and replaced by 8-10 guys it seems. But it's really worked out but hard to follow as a fan.
  16. Was at the game last night, second game of the year in person other than Opening Day...was getting real sick of seeing 0 offense again but then that all changed in the 9ths and 10th. What a great W let's hope it gets them goin' here back to ,500!
  17. Much too early to talk about selling. Let's see how the next month and half plays out first.
  18. Like a few others have said I think it's a miracle that this team is anywhere close to .500 right now with all the injuries, and a luke warm start from all 3 of our bigger stars. If all 3 of those guys are mashing right now, I don't think this post gets made and we aren't complaining about these guys as much as we are and calling for the reining GM of the year's head 1.5 months into the season. If these guys get hot, and the pitching comes back from injury strong I think we're gonna be ok and in the hunt.
  19. Yep watching the games, looking at our offense stats on screen and all the injuries like wow how are around .500? All our big names have been average or below average. I think they can turn it around and get hot.
  20. M on helmet, yep this era of Brewers is too before my time don't know too many of the players.
  21. Terrible tattoos? Yep, Cory Hart.
  22. I will admit watching EDLC is pretty fun. He's one of those guys like a Yeli where it's just fun to watch him run the bases with that long stride, more like a 400m track star than a baseball player. And then throwing to 1st base at what looks like 100mph every play is fun too.
  23. I heard that on 620 this morning. I'm sure some people will chime in with the usual "Cheap Owner" comments and messages but maybe they knew he was gone so why bother they couldn't match.
