  1. Mod edit: Stop posting about the thing you keep posting about. When we delete a post it's time to move on.
  2. "Leaders" and the media had to drive a wedge between people over quarantining or not last spring, then wearing masks or not, then getting the vaccine or not, so it only makes sense they had to find something else to make people hate each other over. Interesting my response to this post was removed, but this one stayed. Basically, I just agreed, yet mine was taken away. I didn't realize censoring posts was a thing here.
  3. Are we sadists or masochists? I can never remember which one likes to have pain, and which one likes to administer pain.
  4. I have taken a day off from watching 2 or 3 times this season. Just a mental break is a good thing once in a while. Most of the time I just have it on in the background this year. Hard to watch this mess on a daily basis.
  5. He simply was not down long enough. Simple as that.
  6. Garcia is probably the best hitter right now. Narvaez has been ice cold before his double last night.
  7. Which he was last night, and he did all he could do to lose that game. He isn't usable for any situation, not even with a 5 run lead.
  8. He is rejuvinated!
  9. Not sure if a week and a half of games is going to make all that much difference, but the numbers he was putting up in Nashville were certainly a night-and-day difference from what he's done so far this year in MLB, aside from a similarly high K rate. It will be interesting to see if his approach at the plate is any different. Seems a bit early to me. How can he turn things around this quickly? His AAA numbers are great but MLB pitching should be a lot different than AAA pitching. It would be a huge mistake to call him up to soon, then have him struggle right out of the gates again. Oh well, someone else gets paid to make those decisions.
  10. Closest we have came was eating at Culver's outdoors. It's coming though, we have a Mexican restaurant we love with no outside seating. That will be first on our list once we take the plunge.
  11. I have yet to go maskless out in public at stores, etc. I'm in the minority, that's for sure.
  12. Anyone know if he has made adjustments to his swing, or is he just that much better than AAA pitching?
  13. The #1 thing that should be done is a pitch clock. Minors have been doing it for years right? What is the purpose if they were not trying it out for MLB? Just add the damn pitch clock and shave some time off that way to start. I have friends who are baseball fans who can't sit through a game live anymore on tv. The dvr every game (watch it the next day for highlights), or just tune in on the net someplace to see the highlights. I wish I could be satisfied with that, but I need to see the game.
  14. Perez might end up the starting shortstop in Milwaukee if he keeps hitting like he has so far at Nashville. If Counsell is still making up the line-up cards, I have no doubt this is correct.
  15. Interesting. Why does no one take this into account?
  16. Why does this fall on pitching? The pitchers are doing their jobs. It's the hitting that has become total garbage. Launch angles are killing the game imo. Why deaden the ball to begin with. Doing that was asking for less offense, well, that is what they got. How's that working for MLB right now? Go back the way it was a couple of years ago and the problem takes care of itself. We don't need to move the mound back, unless you want even more injuries. Imagine the injuries involved with changing the distance of the pitch? These arms are trained for the distance now, that they have always used. You want even more injuries, mess with the mound.
  17. Are you saying that the players and coaches should be able to argue with the umpires as much as they want? Imagine how long games would go if it was acceptable to argue every single call? There has to be a line drawn someplace.
  18. We are so lucky to be watching our 3 headed monster! As a lifelong Brewers fan, I couldn't appreciate these 3 guys more!
