  1. I had to go pick up my kid but hey, they won!
  2. Dunno, I listen to a lot of broadcasts and they all kinda do the same things. It's the hometown nine, most broadcast teams tend to couch "negatives" with niceties.
  3. I'm sure there is an understanding that they can't bash the on-field product too harshly but also, they're professionals. Sitting through 162 being negative would both be exhausting and alienate viewers. This is an entertainment product they're selling, after all.
  4. And it just figures that you get exactly the ball you want hit to the guy you want and... that happens.
  5. Okay, this entire Andruw Monasterio thing is just ridiculous.
  6. Again, an announcement to everyone associated with the Milwaukee Brewers in any way, shape, or form: Do not remind Andruw Monasterio that he is not supposed to be this good
  7. LOL just as we're on the verge of putting him in front of a firing squad...
  8. I was meh about the Canha deal but also see why they did it. It was an acceptable move, though one I didn't find particularly exciting.
  9. The only position I'm really concerned about is SS because Adames simply looks lost out there. I think the Brewers patched together enough at 1B/OF to run a semi-decent platoon out there, or at least not embarrass themselves as they did in the first four months.
  10. I'm actually pretty happy with the way this entire roster is rounding out down the stretch.
  11. 107.8 exit velo with a .670 xBA for Contreras.
  12. And Contreras runs into crap luck. Bah.
  13. Yelich gets them back within one. Watching him this season has been an absolute joy.
  14. I'm frustrated, too, I'm just not writing off the season because the Brewers have stepped on a bunch of rakes in the past 10-15 days.
  15. It's the fourth inning of an early August game. And now it's 4-2. Some of y'all need to take a breath.
  16. I zoned out for a minute while typing... why on earth is Vanessa Hudgens at a Brewers game in Milwaukee?
  17. I don't know about every day but it seems prudent to start testing the waters against the occasional LHP.
