  1. Don’t tell anyone but if one of our three sites has to go, I also hope it’s the Cubs site. 😆 Really though, Brewer Fanatic is proving that our “community-first and us-last” model works. If we grind it out, focus on the community, and take care of our content creators, we’ll be rewarded in time. We owners are still personally upside-down on this site. And that’s intentional (somewhat). Everybody gets paid before us. In time, there’s enough to go around for everyone if we do our jobs.
  2. Hailstorms, tornados, nuclear apocalypses, etc
  3. Yeah, an IL stint may be over-reacting but I'd strongly consider *a lot* of rest.
  4. Do you just IL him at this point? He's been struggling anyway.
  5. Beat the Yankees again, it's pretty fun.
  6. I think so but I'm not 100% sure. I was talking to someone on NSBB about how I believe the umpires have discretion to advance/recall runners in these situations because the call on the field was out, which effectively ends the play before it should have ended.
  7. Fans are all the same. If you want to think you're reading about a 110 loss team, just visit Twins Twitter some time.
  8. Cubs fans feel the same way, FTR.
  9. The Brewers could leave New York putting the Yankees under .500 in September, which is a fun thing to think about.
  10. But what's the point? It's not as if the umpire is going to reverse the call. If Counsell needs to have a conversation with the team, that can happen in the clubhouse.
  11. To anyone wondering why Counsell didn't leave the dugout: managers have virtually zero ability to judge horizontal location from the dugout. It was the last out of the game. Absolutely nothing is accomplished by getting out there and berating the umpire. That conversation can happen back in the clubhouse with the team.
  12. And that was an awful call to end the game.
  13. I missed most of this game. I wish I had missed all of it.
  14. Yelich was completely fooled on every swing and miss in that at-bat.
  15. Oh come on, Joe, your team is going nowhere. Don't try so hard.
  16. Another very early start in the getaway game with the Pirates. The Brewers really need to win this series, as the Cubs continue to refuse to lose.
  17. Another dreaded TBD opponent. Hopefully we don't see a repeat of yesterday.
  18. Showing up flat in Pittsburgh is not a good look, that's for sure.
  19. The Cubs had/have the opportunity to control a lot of the wild card action. They just split a series with the Reds, which didn't amount to much because they blew a late lead in one game. Now they face the Giants, then they face the Diamondbacks.
  20. A disappointing game yesterday but hard to complain too much about a series win against a postseason team.
  21. Yeah, it’s time to start giving guys days off. Once the Brewers are over 95% to win the division then it’s time to start resting as many people as possible as often as possible.
