  1. I feel like 2026 is going to be a kind of put up or shut up season for Pratt. If he doesn't show improved bat speed and EV then I think he's going to drop closer to the bottom of the Top 100 list. They had an article showing 90th EV for the Top 100 prospects and Pratt's 101.2 was 3rd lowest.
  2. That happened much earlier than I had remembered. Definitely a chance he's ready to go on day 1 if the surgery was in May.
  3. Is Ramon going to be ready to play at the start of next season? Didn't he tear his achilles pretty far into the 2025 season or did we never get confirmation of that?
  4. Dodgers giving out $64M signing bonuses on 4 year deals while nearly a third of the league doesn’t presently have a TV provider. Awesome stuff.
  5. I've changed my mind. I can answer without more context. 100% trade Freddy. Freddy Peralta would be SP4/SP5 on the Dodgers. The idea of holding onto him when the Dodgers exist as if it gives us a better chance to beat them just feels silly. Trade 1 year of Freddy to get players with more team control. Continue to try and make the playoffs every single year and hope to get hot at the right time. We can't compete with the Dodgers on paper.
  6. Padres are not going to trade Merrill but if they were, they wouldn't want 1 year of Freddy in return. The trade would probably need to be Made plus more.
  7. Feel like he is pretty hit or miss but he's not a nobody. Padres have been rumored to be interested in Freddy but I'm not really sure there's a trade that makes much sense there because Brewers typically prioritize an MLB ready return and the Padres don't have anything like that to offer the Brewers
  8. He had over 700 PA at AA between 2024 and 2025. In this PA his contact rate was right around 60%.
  9. I'd trade Freddy for Tolle straight up. 6/6+ years of Tolle for one of Freddy in my opinion is great value. 119 stuff+ and 68 bot stuff in his brief MLB sample last year as a 22 year old. I think Tolle has a good chance of becoming a Top 5/10 LHP in MLB. A Misiorowski-Tolle top of the rotation the next half decade makes me salivate
  10. Id do that Boston trade in a heart beat.
  11. I think we all would, but I can’t imagine the Yankees would even trade Schlittler for Freddy straight up.
  12. He would have been ranked in the Brewers Top 30 if he was still in the system just nowhere near 5th. Dorchies is ranked 15th by BA at 40 adjusted overall. Dubanewicz is ranked 26th by BA at 30 adjusted overall. Quintana is 35 adjusted overall, so in our system he would have been ranked somewhere from 16 to 26.
  13. I just can't answer a raw yes or no to this question. The answer is far more nuanced than that.
  14. Agreed. I don't think anyone outside of MLB owners want MiLB to contract even further.
  15. -10 DRS and -13 OAA in 593 innings at 3B in 2025. Probably not competent enough with the glove at this point for the Brewers to seriously consider him for a roster spot.
  16. Everyone knows minor league contraction is something that MLB owners want. Lance Brozdowski had a video talking about the possibility of the Low A level being removed during the next CBA. This had me wondering what would the Brewers do in that situation. They own their A ball club and have a brand new facility being built in Wilson. They probably love their partnership with the Timber Rattlers. My solution was Wilson would replace Biloxi as our AA affiliate and our 3 affiliates would be Wisconsin (A+), Wilson (AA), and Nashville (AAA). If you look at the map, Wilson could be in a division with Tennessee, Chattanooga, and Rocket City and it would make plenty of sense geographically. What are your guys thoughts?
  17. I’m sorry did you just compare Cooper Pratt to Wade Boggs who had a career 132 wRC+ and was a hall of famer? This article fails to meet the standard set by the writers on this site.
  18. Chad Patrick officially getting the Jack Stern stamp of approval. As one of the OG Chad Patrick fans this is a monumental day.
  19. Correct. Yankees won’t get a comp pick because they didn’t give Devin a QO.
  20. When I see something like this it definitely makes me wonder if some of Berry’s teachings lagged over into the 2025 season and as teams started to adjust the Brewers just didn’t have an answer.
  21. It will be interesting to see how they split time at SS in the DSL this year. All 3 of Frontado, Rodriguez, and Moneys have scouting reports that would make you think the Brewers would prefer them to get SS reps while in the DSL
  22. We should just make an annual thread dedicated to you. The 2026 ARobsBrewCrew Notes and Tidbits thread and pin it with the top threads on the minor league forum. Then you have a clear space where you can share this type of info.
  23. Again I’m not sure what you’re referring to? That’s not in the article you just posted. This is the only reference to Borbon in that article.
  24. I’m not sure what you mean by that? Nothing in that article says anything about why Borbon lost his job as 1st base coach? It just says he has a different job in the org that’s no longer with the MLB staff.
  25. Most notable change for me is Borbon no longer being on the staff. Brewers base stealing fell off in a big way last year. They went from 14.4 wSB in 2024 to 0.6 wSB in 2025. For a team that loves to win on the margins like the Brewers, a 14 run drop off in base stealing was probably viewed as unacceptable.
